What are you watching?

I watch TV while I write, generally something that will put me in the mood for what I’m working on.

Right now I’m doing some touch-ups to a werewolf urban fantasy novel that I hope something will like enough to acquire. It’s a dark, sexy and action-packed work. The heroine is a modern woman, but the clothes and weapons she uses are not — leather jerkins, swords and crossbows.

That makes KING ARTHUR a perfect movie to get me in the mood. Of course, Clive Owen is truly sexy in this movie. Plus, he and Keira Knightly have good chemistry!

So, what are you watching? What are your favorite movies?

  4. Hi Caridad! I started watching American Idol for the first time this year. That’s the only TV show I watch. I prefer to read when I have free time. I love the movie King Arthur. I think it has a lot to do with Clive Owen. It’s one of my favorites. I also like Pride and Prejudice, The Notebook, The Last of the Mohicans and Dangerous Beauty. Those are ones I’ve watched over and over again. lol

  5. So glad you liked the movie! It didn’t seem to do well in the movies, but I caught it on a plane trip and knew I had to buy the DVD. You’re right that the relationships are great.

Loved Pride & Prejudice as well and am impressed with Keira Knightley’s range. I first saw her in BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM which was an excellent movie as well.

  7. King Arthur is one of my favorites, too. Loved the friendship and humor among the knights and the music was gorgeous.
