It is a shame, although orchids will stay in bloom for a long time. I bought one at Costco one Christmas and it kept its flowers for nearly a month. This is the third year I’ve had it and it’s rebloomed every year.

Thanks! I wish I could grow flowers like this, but I’ve got lots of shade and wet soil. Not a good combo, but I try. I will post pictures of my little pond and yard after the spring thaw.
