I'm glad you enjoyed your tarot card readings. I've been reading the cards for almost ten years now. I've found that the best readings are people who are bit skeptical. I'm not sure why. It just seems to work that way.

We had our writers retreat a couple of weeks ago. On that friday I managed to slice not just one but two fingers while cutting cubes of bread for a bread and dip appetizer. (they took my knives away from me after that.)

I couldn't get one of the cuts to stop bleeding. Fortunately we had a "certified" psychic in the group and she was able to psychically heal my finger - Well, it probably had more to do with getting me to sit still for 20 minutes with pressure on the wound and my hand elevated. I have to say though, I don't have much of a scar...

She had done tarot readings the previous year with several of the women in the group and was frighteningly accurate, even to the point of declaring that one woman needed to step back because her "whatever" was interfering. It seemed that she had a personal tragedy and it was contaminating the "psychic space". I talked with that gal later and she said that our psychic had revealed something that hadn't been public knowledge within this group prior to that night.

Frankly, I avoid doing things like getting my cards read because if in fact there is an authentic psychic reader there I'm not entirely sure I want my emotions and all my demons spread out on the table for the world to see...Or worse - for ME to see...
denial...denial...denial...;)

Even though I like to think of myself as a skeptic I'm afraid that I'm pretty easily influenced .
