WHOA! I’m back and boy am I beat! I had a great time at the conference and will be writing about it a little more later in the week once I get my feet back on the ground.
But now, it’s time to get back into the swing of things ‘cuz I’ve really missed you all! With it being Monday, you know what it is — Guilty Pleasures and this Monday, it’s a Guilty Pleasure for the young and those who are young at heart. Welcome to Jonas Brothers Monday!!
This is a picture of the Jonas Brothers with my daughter after a House of Blues concert back in late 2007. Back then, we’d seen them a few times in concert and got to meet them afterward. Very cute, polite and lovely young men. We’ve seen them in concert recently and on Friday, we’ll be seeing them again out at the Jones Beach theater. For those of you brave enough to take a chance, they’ll also be the free concert this Friday at Bryant Park as part of the Good Morning America concert series.
Why brave enough? Well, anyone with a young daughter will understand this — If the military could somehow recreate the sound of a young teen’s idol screech, they’d have the most effective weapon ever devised. LOL!
Seriously though. The Jonas Brothers are talented, cute and seem like a great bunch of kids. If you haven’t checked them out, do so or visit your local Disney store for all the CAMP ROCK stuff. The middle brother – Joe (the one right next to my daughter in the picture) – was the lead in that made-for-TV movie. Also look for a behind the scenes tour video on Disney as well as a show with all three brothers in the fall, I believe.

I actually watched CAMP ROCK and now have the songs stuck in my head… I also hear a song or two of theirs on the radio… not bad!!! 🙂
I am sorry but I’ve never heard of these boys or their music. Just call me an old fuddy-duddy but I like the old stuff. I will check them out later after I get back from Dr. Get some rest and have a great day. Hugs to all.
