It is the media that is making the issues. We are supporting the media by watching/reading etc. It is time that we go back to reporting not making the news

I heard her speech at the convention last night and was impressed. No teleprompter, no notes, and she really connected with her audience. Smart lady. My husband quipped that if we were to have a female president, she'd give Hillary a run for her money. Wouldn't that be a ballot for the ages?

None of us can say what we would do until we are faced with that choice. I certainly couldn't. I think I know, but I have never been in that position. Anytime a woman is put in the spotlight, you are going to hear a lot of negative things about them. Look at the quick reaction when it was announced her daughter was pregnant. That had absolutely nothing to do with her being the VP nominee but the news was all over it in a heartbeat. The news needs to back off on private matters and focus on the issues. It's time for a change in the way news is done. As for the photo, so what if she wears a bikini, she has the right and the figure to do it. Have a great day and hugs to all.

What I would choose and what someone else would choose...you cannot fault someone for not agreeing with you. No matter how much it may hurt.

But along the lines of sexism, let me warn your readers that the bikini photo of the AK governor has been photoshopped, that is not her nor is it her body. (I've gotten that picture four times already this morning so I checked it out.) Whoever did the woman this disservice is a moron.
