Christmas Tree Selection!

Just a quick reminder that today I’ll be visiting JoJo’s Book Corner and we’ll be having a little giveaway! Please drop by and spend some time with us.

Yesterday we went on our annual Christmas tree hunt. We head out in the early morning and go to Anne Ellen’s Tree Farm in Manalapan where we tromp out into the fields, select a tree and chop it down. Then we head back to the farmstand to buy an ornament for each of us. It’s been our tradition for over twenty years and we really love it!

Here are some photos from this year’s Christmas tree selection. If you can’t see the slideshow down below, you can click on this link for photos of how we picked our Christmas tree.

  1. That looks like it was a lot of fun! But cold!!! What an awesome tradition, too.

We haven’t had a real tree in about 7 years. Next year, that will have to change! I want my kids to know what fun it is to actually pick out our own tree.

Thanks so much for sharing your family tradition!
