2This Wicked Wednesday I’m offering you another free chapter from THE WOLF WITHIN, the story of FBI Forensics Specialist and physician Maggie Gonzalez and FBI Special Agent David Harris from THE CALLING Vampire novels. In the earlier chapter, David is reflecting on how his life has changed since the fateful night of a failed FBI mission left him in a wheelchair (DEATH CALLS). In this chapter, it has been several days since Maggie moved out after her argument with David. She is unable to sleep and troubled, but then she receives a call from work.
