The Wolf Within Chapter 4
1This Wicked Wednesday I’m offering you another free chapter from THE WOLF WITHIN, the story of FBI Forensics Specialist and physician Maggie Gonzalez and FBI Special Agent David Harris from THE CALLING Vampire novels. In the earlier chapter, Maggie has been called to assist at a crime scene in Central Park. She meets NYPD homocide detective Peter Daly (you may remember him from TEMPTATION CALLS) and he asks her to accompany his CSU officer to the murder location in the woods. Maggie and the CSU officer proceed, but as they do so, Maggie gets the sense that the crime scene is going to be more than she bargained for.
In Chapter 4, Maggie and the CSU are approaching the body of the murder victim.
