Doing something a little different today for Man Candy Monday! I guess this was prompted by this baseball season and the assortment of beards that were visible out on the field. I haven’t seen that much facial hair in years. Some of it not so attractive.
So, I’m okay with a beard as long as it’s nicely trimmed and neat. What about you? Beard or no beard?
First of all, congrats to both the Indians and the Cubs for making it to the World Series. One of two long droughts in baseball will end this year. Me, I’m rooting for the Cubbies. I’ve got to stick with the National League and I have two good friends who are diehard Cubs fans, so this one is for you Barb & Priscilla.
So Kris Bryant caught my eye the other day while watching the Cubs-Dodgers game. What a cutie and what amazing blue eyes! Thanks to Kris’s Facebook Fan Page for today’s Man Crush Monday photo.
Many thanks to my friend Kym A. for turning me onto singer and model Steffen Hughes! It was so awesome getting to spend time with you Kym at the Fall in Love with New England Conference. I met lots of really nice people and some other friends face-to-face for the first time. So awesome. I highly recommend this conference!
But back to Man Candy Monday! Steffen is a singer and model from Alabama. Steffen got his first guitar at age 16 and released his first EP in 2014. Steffen is also an avid fitness advocate. A world class polo player and model for what else but Polo by Ralph Lauren, this man is smoking hot! With a 6 goal handicap, Figueras is one of the top 100 polo players in the world and some consider him the polo equivalent of another hottie, David Beckham. I could so picture him playing Jax from the first book in the Jersey Girl Bridesmaid series!

With a Wild Card Game to win, the Mets will have Noah Syndergaard on the mound and besides having a smoking fastball, Noah is a smoking hot guy! 6’5″ with piercing blue eyes and those golden locks. It’s no wonder that they call him Thor. Noah can also hit the ball, having had several home runs and hits as a Met. Nominated to the All Star Game this year, Noah unfortunately had to miss the game due to an injury.
Here’s hoping Thor can bring his hammer down on the Giants this Wednesday!
Today’s choice, Chris Davis aka Crush Davis, is not only cute and a good ball player, he’s an upstanding young man who believes in helping others. Today’s Man Crush is a man who creates heat in the kitchen and elsewhere: Paul Hollywood, celebrity chef from The Great British Bake Off. If you love cooking, and baking in particular, you must watch this show! I love hearing Paul and Mary Berry, the other remarkable host, talk about the items which have to be created and then analyzing them. The bakers on this show create some truly awesome confections.
As for Paul, this picture just doesn’t do him credit. You must watch the show to get the full effect of that salt and pepper hair, ice blue eyes and the accent. Oh my . . . things are heating up here. LOL! Hope you enjoyed today’s Man Candy.
