Handsome Trey from Lost in Little Havana

It’s been a long time since I did a Man Candy Monday so I decided today was the day to do it. I spent the morning scouring the Internet for a handsome man who I could picture a Trey from Lost in Little Havana. He had to be handsome, but he also needed something else. Something that screamed dangerous and in more ways than one if you get what I mean. This photo kept on pulling me in and I could totally see this man as Trey. Many thanks to Jens Lindner on Unsplash for this photo! That’s a new site I discovered where you can get images for free. You may want to check it out. P.S. — You can download the first three books in the South Beach Security series in print, e-book, and audio at https://amzn.to/3Td7kIF.

Jude Law as John Wilson on Man Candy Monday

I usually have a pretty good idea of what a character will look like when I start writing a book, but for some reason John Wilson from
Biscayne Bay Breach was always way hazier in my brain. I knew I wanted him to look a little more refined than someone like All-Action-Guy Trey from Lost in Little Havana. Since John had a rough upbringing, he wasn’t as polished as Ricky from Brickell Avenue Ambush. Plus he’s a computer nerd, so there was a little of that in the mix. This morning it hit me: Jude Law. I can see him being a diamond in the rough who is both nerdy and sexy. What do you think? To learn more about the South Beach Security series, please visit https://amzn.to/3GYWSAo. Man Candy Galore on Physical 100

What can I say? Physical 100 teased me because it sounded like a real-life Squid Games without the killing, of course. Within a few minutes, I realized it was a Man Candy dream come true. Wow! So many handsome Korean men with bodies that are killer. I definitely recommend it if you need to get a dose of amazing eye candy and also some really exciting physical challenges. The trailer for the show is below and you can catch Physical 100 on Netflix.

Ricky Gonzalez from Brickell Avenue Ambush

As I’ve mentioned before, Ricky Gonzalez from Brickell Avenue Ambush is just an ordinary person who gets caught up in an extraordinary situation. The middle child, he’s nothing like his All-Action older brother Trey or his elegant and very social younger sister Mia. Ricky is just working on growing his psychology practice when Fate drops Mariela Hernandez into his lap. Now Ricky has to help his family’s South Beach Security agency keep Mariela safe and possibly save the lives of dozens of people who might die thanks to Mariela’s abusive ex-husband. This is how I picture Ricky in his office, waiting to deal with one of his patients. You can find out more about Brickell Avenue Ambush and the series at https://amzn.to/36KrDcR.

Man Candy Monday Michiel Huisman

I first noticed Michiel in HBOMax’s The Flight Attendant starring Kaley Cuoco of Big Bang fame. I didn’t know what to expect but was thoroughly surprised and pleased by the action-packed and twisty suspense. Michiel plays a love angle of sorts to Kaley’s very tortured and interesting heroine. I highly recommend it. Hubby and I are watching Michiel now in Echo 3 which also stars the very handsome Luke Evans. As for Michiel, I could totally picture him playing Ricky Gonzalez who is the hero in Brickell Avenue Ambush, #2 in the South Beach Security series (Available December 27, 2022). Here’s a teaser for Brickell Avenue Ambush and you can check out this romance at https://amzn.to/3BlccUz.

Man Candy Monday Joe Manganiello

I’m busy writing the second book in the South Beach Security: K-9 Division series, tentatively titled Escape the Everglades. The hero in the story is single dad Carlos Ruiz who runs an Everglades tour business while raising his ten-year-old son Lucas. When Carlos encounters poachers in the area and attempts to stop them, it starts a dangerous chain of events that has Carlos calling in SBS to help protect his business, an endangered Florida panther, and most importantly, his son Lucas. I pictured Carlos as this muscular, handsome, bearded man and Joe Manganiello came to mind, especially since I recently saw him Bottom of the 9th. I love baseball movies and this was an uplifting one about a ball player who’s been released from prison and is attempting to rebuild his life and make amends for what he did. As for Joe playing Carlos, that’s a big YES! What do you think?

Hispanic Heritage Month and Lost in Little Havana

A murdered detective who might be dirty. Friends becoming lovers during a dangerous assignment. Missing co-eds who may be forced into a human trafficking ring. The importance of family and service to others. Did I get your attention? LOL! If you love a story with all that and lots of action and romance, you might enjoy Lost in Little Havana. It’s the first book in the South Beach Security series and releases on November 29! Look for the next two books in December and January and then we’ll let the dogs out for the spinoff in the SBS K-9 series in 2023. Here’s a teaser for Lost in Little Havana and I hope you’ll check it out or maybe even pre-order your copy to help celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. By the way, this is how I pictured Trey, the hero in the book. Trey is his nickname since he is the third Ramon Gonzalez in the family.
