#WisdomWednesday – Find Yourself in a Book
One of my favorite things to do during the summer was to walk with my grandmother and sister to the library. Another one was to wait for the bookmobile to come so I could get another book to read. I would read everything and I can’t imagine not reading. For me, books transport me to another place where I can lose myself, but they also help me find myself. I find things in the characters that I love and how they overcome adversity. I find things I might not like about myself and I wonder how I can change for the better. So my wisdom for today is from an anonymous quote: Lose yourself in a book. Find yourself there too.

As a kid I always went to bed with a book in my hand. I just loved to read and as I got older, I realized that I also wanted to write. Today’s words are a fun play on going to bed with a book!
