#ThrowbackThursday – #IWWGTakeover and My First Book Signing

I’m very excited to be doing a takeover on Instagram with the fabulous The International Women’s Writing Guild!

I am also very psyched to be attending my first IWWG conference in July! I’ve wanted to go for so many years and am honored I get to teach a course on writing Commercial Fiction as part of the conference. I hope to share with you all the info I’ve gleaned in nearly 20 years as a published author.

In all those years I’ve helped launch two imprints, have become a NY Times and USA Today bestseller, and have faced the challenges of a rapidly changing publishing market. If you’re attending I hope you’ll enjoy the different classes I’ve prepared for you!

Since it’s #ThrowbackThursday, how about a toss back to my very first book signing. That’s my daughter with me (who has also written a book). It was a very happy moment after many years of writing and trying to get published.

Please take a moment to check out the conference at http://www.iwwg.org/summer-conference #IWWGtakeover #womenwriters #womensvoices #womensstories #writersofinstagram #poetsofinstagram #writingconferences #writingcommunity #muhlenbergcollege #authorsofinstagram #amwriting

First Book Signing

#ThrowbackThursday RWA 2017 and LSF Writers

I love conferences because I love meeting new people and attending the workshops. I always come away from a conference with newfound energy and determination. This photo of me with my buddy Kim Lowe is at RWA 2017. I can’t wait to see Kim in a few days since she’ll be at the upcoming Liberty States Fiction Writers Conference. Registration for the conference is now closed, but the Book Fair on Saturday is open to the general public. If you’re in the area, I hope you can make it!

A trip back to the Liberty States Fiction Writers Conference

I always look forward to my local group’s conference! It’s always a great experience to spend time with readers and writers and to attend the awesome workshops and be inspired about something I love to do: Writing!

This is a picture of me taken at the book fair which is open to the general public.

This year’s conference is from March 24-25 and if you’ll be in the area, I hope that you’ll consider joining me! For more information on the conference and the book fair, which is open to the general public, please visit www.lsfwriters.com

#WriteWed – Liberty States Fiction Writers Conference

As both a writer and a reader, I love attending conferences, especially my local ones! As the President of Liberty States Fiction Writers and a presenter at this year’s conference, I am doubly stoked to attend! We’ve got an awesome line-up of keynote speakers with the amazing Julie Kenner and Dee Davis. We’ve also got 24+ Writers’ Track Workshops and 16+ Readers’ Track Workshops for you to choose from as well as a Saturday Night party and Book Fair! This year we’ve also introduced a Young Writers track for students (17+) and writers at all levels who wish to either learn or refresh select writing skills.

If you can’t make the conference, I’d love to see you at the Book Fair which will be held on Saturday, March 24 and will be open to the general public in addition to all conference attendees. Here’s some more info about the conference!
