I think you guys know I so love baseball and although I’m a long suffering Mets fan, you’ve got to appreciate good players, and hotness, even if it’s on the opposing team.
So today’s Guilty Pleasure Monday is Cole Hamels, the 2008 National League Championship Series and World Series MVP. Cole posted a 4-0 record over the two series and helped the Phillies win the 2008 World Series.
Go Phillies! Yep, when I’m not rooting for the Mets, I root for the National League East team and lately they seem to always be in first.
I’m also thinking of offering you guys a baseball romance that I had written for Kensington, but which didn’t get published because the line for which I was writing folded. What do you think of that idea? Would you like a story about a sexy rookie player and an older female trainer? I’d love to hear from you about that.
Also, the winner of the Summer Giveaway Hop is Anne R. Anne, please send me your postal address so I can ship your LOST T-shirt and a copy of STRONGER THAN SIN.
For night owls, come play with me tonight at Linda Mooney’s Other World of Romance Blog Talk Radio where we’ll be talking about THE LOST. You can click here for the station!

Good morning! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I spent mine down the shore doing more research for the SIN HUNTER paranormal romance series and snapping off photos of the various locations which I will share with you later.
So who is today’s Guilty Pleasure?
When I first thought of the hero in my new romantic suspense novel, THE FIFTH KINGDOM, there was no doubt in my mind who Bill Santana would look like: Eddie Cibrian.
This picture of him looking all dark and dangerous was shot at Vandenberg Air Force during an FBI and U.S. Air Force explanation of how intelligence is gathered for bomb explosions. The info was being used for a television show in which Eddie was participating.
Hope you enjoyed today’s Guilty Pleasure.

Today’s Monday Guilty Pleasure is familiar to all Gleeks! He’s the sexy bad boy on GLEE – Mark Salling! Gotta love a guy who can truly carry off a Mohawk as well as sing and dance!
Hope you enjoy him as well.

How cold was it this morning when I left my house? 2 degrees Fahrenheit. 2! How cold is that really? Well take a look at this snapshot of the Bryant Park fountain which was freezing over from the arctic chill.
Well, we definitely have to generate some heat to combat that arctic chill and what better way than with a nice hot Guilty Pleasure? But with it being so cold, we need a man who can heat us up in the kitchen as well with something so delectable we’ll be shivering in anticipation. So today’s Guilty Pleasure is Curtis Stone, celebrity chef. Curtis has been on a number of television cooking shows both in his native Australia and here in the States. You may remember how nice he dressed up when he appeared on Celebrity Apprentice.
I hope you enjoyed today’s Guilty Pleasure.

So this is a first for me. Photos so hot that they come with a warning and with only a link for you to follow! Why? Because this Guilty Pleasures Monday – Alan Valdez – may melt your monitors or produce a spew of coffee onto your keyboard and I can’t be responsible for that, can I?
Okay, well maybe I can!
So, with forewarning and hopefully being forearmed, please click here to visit Alan Valdez, this morning’s Guilty Pleasure or cut and paste this link into your browser:
This Monday’s Guilty Pleasure is Shemar Moore who is currently appearing on one of my must watch shows – Criminal Minds. Unfortunately it’s up against LOST which means I usually catch it on the DVR.
Shemar is an Emmy award winning actor who spent some time on The Young and the Restless and was also a male model. On Criminal Minds he plays Derek Morgan who seems to be the muscle and law enforcement type on the show. Shemar has also appeared a number of other series and movies.
Also want to share with you some items that are available at the Brenda Novak Diabetes Auction! First there is this amazing Sabor Latino basket put together by my friend, Olga. Besides some of my novels, there are some wonderful food items as well as a lovely pair of silver earrings and matching pendant.
To bid on this item, you can click here or paste this link into your browser:
You can also bid on the following items that I’ve donated for the auction:
A signed ARC of SINS OF THE FLESH (A June 2009 release)
A signed copy of FURY CALLS
A t-shirt for SINS OF THE FLESH
Complete set of The Calling Vampire novels – PLUS — Calling T-shirt. Novels: DARKNESS CALLS, DANGER CALLS, TEMPTATION CALLS, DEATH CALLS, DEVOTION CALLS, BLOOD CALLS, HOLIDAY WITH A VAMPIRE, DESIRE CALLS and FURY CALLS
Today’s Guilty Pleasure Monday is probably an unusual choice – Ed Harris. But I just love this actor and find him amazingly masculine and appealing.
This screen shot is from APOLLO 13, a fabulous movie with an amazing round up of talent – Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Gary Sinese, Bill Paxton and a slew of other notables that all come together to recreate a moment in history.
I also loved Ed in POLLOCK, about Jackson Pollock the painter. He was truly intense in his role as the offbeat painter.
My favorite, though, has to be THE ABYSS. It’s a great science fiction romance and not to be missed! The story is about a nuclear sub that sinks and the team of an underwater oil platform that’s sent to assist a SEAL team with the rescue of the submariners. There’s action and a really touching romance between Ed Harris and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio.
If you can, get your hands on the special edition DVD as it has lots of extras in the movie!
Hope you enjoyed today’s Guilty Pleasure.
