#ThrowbackThursday – Happy Anniversary!

Hubby and I just celebrated an anniversary – a Big One! Hard to believe it’s been so long since we started dating in college. This is a photo from the first summer we dated. Gotta love that Huckapoo shirt that was all the rage at the time. Anyway, Happy Anniversary! Here’s to many many more!

#ThrowbackThursday – My Little One

My daughter has been on my mind a lot lately, mainly because she’s embarked on the next phase of her journey through life. She just got a new job and is getting married in the fall. We’ve been having fun with her in New York City which has let us have time together for shopping sample sales, dinners, and other entertaining things. We haven’t run into New York City vampire though. At least not yet! LOL! For today, a cute picture from when my daughter was about two or so. Hat is courtesy of the grandparents and attitude is all her own.

#TeaserTuesday Under the Boardwalk

Happy Tuesday! You know what that means: a teaser!

Today I’m sharing a teaser from UNDER THE BOARDWALK. I loved exploring how two people who truly love each other go about repairing a marriage that’s gone wrong. I truly believe that with love, you can fix something that’s broken. It just takes time and patience and in this case, a little bit of passion. Okay, maybe a lot of passion, not that passion alone is enough necessarily.

In UNDER THE BOARDWALK, Chase and Natalie have lost the passion as their lives have pulled them apart. The love is still there, but caught up in a lot of other things that are keeping them from being real with each other. In this story, they get real again and try to rekindle their love and marriage, but also find themselves again.

Teaser

Natalie Ramirez has spent less and less time with her husband over the last year and more and more time alone. She longs for the happy days of summer when she and Chase would pass the time together on the beach and under the boardwalk, exploring the passion that simmered between them as hot as any summer sun.

Chase Smith had to work hard for everything he ever had, including his wife Natalie. His wife had never wanted for anything in her life and Chase didn’t want to disappoint her. But somewhere along the way, Chase lost sight of the most important thing she wanted: his love.

A passionate night under the boardwalk brought them together, but can Chase and Natalie rekindle that lost love and save their marriage?

#TeaserTuesday Under the Boardwalk from the SUMMER HEAT Box Set

It’s time for a teaser and today it’s a short excerpt from my new story, Under the Boardwalk, in the the SUMMER HEAT Box Set!

This is a sexy, but emotional story, about a married couple trying to rekindle the summer love they had discovered along the Jersey Shore boardwalks. Why a married couple? Well, marriages sometimes take hard work to maintain, but I do believe that if you truly love someone, that hard work will pay off with a happily-ever-after.

In the case of Natalie and Chase, passion is not the issue, and as I said, this definitely is a sensual story. But more importantly, I hope you’ll be rooting for Natalie and Chase to work through their issues and rediscover their love for each other.

#ThrowbackThursday My Funny Valentine

Since it is so close to Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d share of photo of me with my Valentine – my hubby. And yes, he’s funny and my friend. He’s been supportive through both good times and bad. Is it all perfect? Of course not. A marriage takes work and a give and take (a theme of the new story I’m writing by the way).

So here we are during our honeymoon in Hawaii. We were getting on a boat for a romantic dinner cruise.

Fun Friday Five – Most Emotional Moments in Life

This Fun Friday we’re doing something new: The Fun Friday Five. Today’s Five are the Most Emotional Moments in Life. There are moments you will never forget, whether good or bad. I’m sharing Five of my Most Emotional Good Moments in Life since I want to get the weekend started on a positive note for you!

So here they are:

    1. The first time I saw my daughter and held her in my arms.
    2. Marrying my husband (that picture is the two of us on our wedding day!).
    3. The day I became a United States Citizen.
    4. Watching my sister graduate college (It was my mom’s dream for her girls to go to college but she didn’t live to see my sister graduate).
    5. Receiving the call that someone wanted to buy my book.

How about you? Take a moment to share you’re most upbeat and happy moments in life.

Hope you all have a grand and beautiful weekend.
