#ThrowbackThursday Philly Comic Con & Laura Kaye

A couple of years back a group of us got together for a booth at Philly Comic Con. Stephanie Julian, Judi Fennell, Laura Kaye and myself had a blast there meeting people, selling books, and chasing after our own fav movie and television stars. Here’s a photo of Laura and me at our booth.

Sharing the Fun!

I was recently at a conference in Philadelphia and wanted to share some photos with you. I had a nice time meeting both old and new friends and Philly was so much fun. The hotel was in Center City and the weather was great, so it was not a problem walking around. We were able to share the city with friends who had never been there before which was cool. I love Philly. It’s a great city.

So now onto the photos! If you can’t see the slideshow below, you can click here to see the photos.

Fun Friday – Flowers on the First Day of Spring

It’s the first day of Spring and it’s snowing!!! Luckily it looks like the snow is letting up and the crocuses, daffodils and other spring flowers are starting to emerge.

Since it is the first day of Spring, I’d thought I’d share some flower photos with you from my trip to the Philadelphia Flower show this year.

Also remember that the extended contest week continues until midnight EST on March 20th (Today!!). Visit any of these blogs and leave a message and you could win a copy of SOLDIER’S SECRET CHILD, an autographed ARC of SINS OF THE FLESH and a CALLING T-shirt. Also drop by Fresh Fiction on March 20th because they are featuring FURY CALLS as their Fresh Pick! (So excited about this!)

Thoughtful Thursday – A Harbinger of Spring

Lots of people think of crocuses as being the harbingers of spring when they poke their colorful little heads up over the remaining bits of snow on the ground.

For me, the best harbinger of spring is the Philadelphia Flower Show! Seeing all those lovely gardens and flowers help me survive the cold winter and remind me that spring is just a short time away.

My sis and I have a birthday ritual of visiting the show every year for my birthday! We’re going to the show tomorrow and I can’t wait to see it. This year’s theme is Bella Italia and I so love all things Italian. Here’s an image you can download from the site for the show. Proceeds from the show are for a good cause as well – The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.

Next week we’ll be having a Birthday Bash Week to celebrate! Check back for lots of guest blogs and opportunities to win some fun prizes!
