#TeaserTuesday Gambling for Love Box Set

I was lucky to get the rights back to THE PRINCE’S GAMBLE and TO CATCH A PRINCESS. These two books are romantic suspense stories with Russian Royalty and set in luxurious casinos in Atlantic City and Monaco. I’ve re-released those two books with new covers and in a box set where you can save on the purchase of both books. Both books are now also available in print:

To Catch a Princess Trade Paperback: http://amzn.to/1ET3vKK

I’d love to hear what you think about the cover for the box set. Do you like the green or would you rather see a different color/photo on the spine? I’ll be working on a third book in the series – THIEF OF HEARTS – for release in Spring 2016.

THE PRINCE’S GAMBLE Romantic Suspense Help Rebuild the Shore Campaign

These are the old covers!

#ManCandyMonday “Is that a gun in your pocket?”

“Or are you just happy to see me?”

Love International StyleLOL, I just couldn’t resist. I’m bad, I know it. But so are today’s Man Candy Monday choices, Bad Boy Princes Alexander and Peter from THE PRINCE’S GAMBLE and TO CATCH A PRINCESS.

Why today? Well, it’s release day for the LOVE INTERNATIONAL STYLE, Valentine’s Anthology with my friends and fellow authors Cathy Perkins and Nikki Logan!

This romantic suspense anthology has an arsenal of action, suspense and romance and what a steal at only $3.79. That’s less than .99 cents per book!

But back to Man Candy! Here’s how I pictured Prince Alexander. Sexy, in command, and definitely not looking for any kind of romance, especially with a woman who thinks he may be involved in some nasty happenings at his casino.

Prince Alexander

Poor Alexander doesn’t know what hits him when he meets sexy FBI Agent Kathleen Martinez.

Prince Peter is a bad boy of a different kind. For years Peter has been running from his secrets, including the fact that he’s been hot for his best friend Alexander’s younger sister, Tatiana. But once he can own that, there’s just one little problem: Peter hasn’t told Tatiana that he’s the man her parents have arranged for her to marry.

Add a thief, stolen jewels and an assassination plot to the mix and Peter will have his hands full! Here’s what I pictured Peter would look like.

Prince Peter To Catch A Princess

So tell me? Could you resist those two pieces of Man Candy? LOL!

Speaking of Man Candy and Bad Boys, don’t forget the Lucky 7 Bad Boys Contemporary Romance Boxed set, also a steal at just .99 cents for 7 fabulous novels.

#ManCandyMonday Hrithik Roshan #Bollywood Hottie

I had a fabulous weekend! My writing buddy Nisha Sharma and I hunkered down to get some serious writing down, but we also took time to hang with my daughter and the equally fabulous Gail Freeman, Past President of the Liberty States Fiction Writers.

I was working on my latest WIP – TO CATCH A PRINCESS (working title). This is the romantic suspense follow-up to THE PRINCE’S GAMBLE and I am so loving how this story is working out. I hope you’ll like it also!!

But in between the writing and talking writing, Nisha introduced me to the hunks of Bollywood with the action film DHOOM 2 (or BLAST 2 in English). OMG is the main actor, Hrithik Roshan, a hottie. Gorgeous face and eyes. Amazing body and boy, can he dance. I discovered that about Bollywood movies. At any time the actors and actresses can break out into dance and song with dozens of extras behind them in synchronized movement.

Kind of interesting and it was hard not to appreciate Hrithik every time he came on the screen, especially when he was bare chested! LOL! But in a more serious vein, Hrithik has won numerous Best Actor awards for his work in various movies, so he’s not just a pretty face.

Hope you enjoyed today’s Man Candy Monday.

To Catch a Princess #WIP #SpoilerAlert

Many of you have been asking about the secondary characters in THE PRINCE’S GAMBLE, especially Peter and Tatiana. You clearly sensed there was something there and wanted to know more about it . . .

So yes, there is a sequel to THE PRINCE’S GAMBLE and yes, it features none other than Peter and Tatiana and a mysterious, sexy man who is not what he seems.

The tentative title of the book is TO CATCH A PRINCESS, although titles are always something we play around with for a variety of reasons. This working title was inspired by Cary Grant/Grace Kelly motion picture TO CATCH A THIEF since most of Peter and Tatiana’s book will be set at the Ivanov casino in Monaco and since part of the suspense revolves around a serious of high end jewelry heists. SO EXCITING!

How I wish I could visit Monaco for some real life inspiration, but sadly, it’ll just have to be research. The site for the principality actually has some great information as well as a smartphone app! Perfect for when I’m on the train and need some quick information.

So what is TO CATCH A PRINCESS about? Think jewel thief to start, but add a big dose of revenge that will threaten Peter and Tatiana’s lives. Think haute couture fashion show loaded with priceless Russian jewelry and relics, just waiting to be stolen. Think of an arranged marriage for Tatiana and a betrayal she never expected from the man she has come to love . . .

Sigh. I’m having so much fun with this! The glamour and the danger. Fast cars and dangerous mountain curves. Money, jewels and of course, romance.

Big sigh. I can’t wait to finish it so you can read it. As soon as we have a final title and publication date, I will be sure to share with you!

THE PRINCE'S GAMBLE Romantic Suspense

Chicken in Sour Cream – The Way to a Girl’s Heart

THE PRINCE'S GAMBLE Romantic SuspenseFirst of all, many thanks to everyone who has taken the time to leave a review of THE PRINCE’S GAMBLE. It really means a lot to me that you did that and I thank you. Reviews really help authors to get the word out about their books. Here is one I just got from Fresh Fiction! Thanks, Annette.

Those of you who have read THE PRINCE’S GAMBLE know that there are a number of Russian foods mentioned in the story. In one scene, Prince Alexander decides to show Kathleen just how wrong she has him by making her a Russian-style meal. Prince Alexander serves up chicken with sour cream and butter with a side of a pilaf chock full of an eclectic mix of ingredients as he tries to work his way into Kathleen’s heart.

This morning I’m sharing with you the recipe for Prince Alexander’s Chicken in Sour Cream. This is a really easy recipe that can be adapted in a number of ways. For example, if you’re not a mushroom fan, just leave them out. You can also add some paprika (about 2 tablespoons of sweet paprika) to the sour cream to make Chicken Paprikash. It’s that simple.

Hope you enjoy today’s recipe from THE PRINCE’S GAMBLE.

Chicken in Sour Cream

Ingredients

2 skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
1/2 cup onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup sour cream
1 cup sliced mushrooms
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Heat the butter and oil in a saute pan. Pat dry your sliced chicken breasts and brown them in the butter/oil. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until just getting brown. Mushrooms have a lot of water so you always want to cook them by themselves and you want to steam away all that water before adding the other ingredients, otherwise you’ll just be steaming the food.

Add the onions to the mushrooms and cook until the onions are soft and beginning to get golden.

Turn down the heat, add the sour cream to the pan and cook for about 5 to 10 minutes. You can use low-fat sour cream to cut down on the calories. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the pan to get up all those brown bits. Those are the sugars from the food that have caramelized on the pan and have all the tasty goodness! The acid from the sour cream will also help to deglaze the pan. If you wish, you could also put a touch of white wine to deglaze the brown bits and add a little more flavor to the sauce. A small amount of chicken broth will likewise work.

Once the sour cream is warm, add the chicken breast back to the pan and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes. I asked you to thinly slice the breasts to make sure they would cook thoroughly. If you’re using a thicker breast, check for doneness before serving.

You can serve the above dish with white rice, pilaf (next week’s recipe), buttered noodles or even an un-Russian item like spaetzle.

A Sexy Night with a Royal – THE PRINCE'S GAMBLE Romantic Suspense – For Mature Audiences Only by Caridad Pineiro

Thank you, Laurie London!

Things have been a little crazy the past few days. I tweaked my knee and despite babying, I’m going to have to have surgery. Because of that, this Thank You Thursday is a little late, but I’d like to thank Laurie London for having me as a guest at her blog!

I met Laurie at the RT Convention, although we had worked on an anthology together. Laurie was such a delightful and gracious lady. I was honored to get to spend some time with her.

At Laurie’s blog, I’m sharing some secrets about the dedication for THE PRINCE’S GAMBLE as well as the inspiration behind it. Also sharing my impressions of my brand new publisher, Entangled Publishing, who is making quite a splash in the publishing industry and rightly so.
