I grew up on Long Island and we spent most of our summers either at the town pool or going to Jones Beach. I love the water and love being near the ocean. When the kids got older, we regularly did trips to Ocean City, Maryland for a vacation at the beach or to Ocean City, New Jersey. This is a photo of my daughter during one of those vacations! So much fun to see my little girl who’s grown into such a wonderful young lady (who’s about to get married in a few months!). I’m really looking forward to more time at the beach in the future!

#ThrowbackThursday – A Trip to Epcot
This past March we did a family vacation with “the kids” and went down to Florida to watch some spring training games. Since we were doing the Mets and the Boston Red Sox that meant staying in the center since the games were “bicoastal.” So we stayed in Orlando which meant we couldn’t pass up a visit to Disneyworld. We had a blast at the Epcot Flower Festival and ate and drank our way around the world. A good time was had by all and today I’m sharing this video of our adventure!

I don’t know about you, but I love to travel. My one big problem with traveling, however, is that I hate to fly. Totally hate to fly. Despite that, I have been able to go to a number of places for both work and pleasure. I still have lots of places I’d like to go and today I’m sharing my Pinterest board of all of those locales!
