#ManCandyMonday Nico Tortorella

Nico first caught my eye in the first season of The Following. Sadly, he played one of the bad guys and I kept on hoping for his redemption because he was so cute! Now Nico is the love interest on Younger. I haven’t watched it, but that doesn’t mean Nico doesn’t keep on catching my eye. LOL!

Thanks to Nico’s Instagram feed for this photo.

#ThrowbackThursday My Appearance on CNN en Español

A couple of years back I was asked to appear on one of the CNN shows to discuss romance novels and their popularity. It was very exciting to be on the show and to be able to sit next to Alexis Bledl and America Ferrera in the make-up room. Both are lovely young women and so beautiful!

There was a lot of prep involved for about a segment that couldn’t have lasted more than 5 minutes, if that. Still, quite an honor to be able to be on the show. Here’s a photo of me waiting to be interviewed on the show.

Here is another one of me at the interview table. I didn’t see the hosts live since they were at another location.

Catching up with you!

THE LOST paranormal romanceApologies on my randomness over the last two weeks. I’ve been struggling to catch up after RWA and a week of illness. I’m hoping to get back on a regular schedule tomorrow when I’ll have my dear friend and fellow author Diane Escalera with us. Diane will be chatting about her latest release, DANGEROUS DESIRE from Lyrical Press.

Look for the newsletter in the next few days with news about the upcoming THE LOST release party and giveaway, which includes a chance to win a SONY E-reader, Copies of AZTEC GOLD and THE FIFTH KINGDOM, a THE LOST T-shirt as well as other fun prizes! Newsletter members will have an exclusive prize that will be added to the Grand Prize if they are the lucky winner. What’s the exclusive prize? How about a $25 gift card to your bookseller choice.

Not getting the newsletter yet? You can click here to sign up!

I hope you’ve been enjoying the wonderful live video events we’ve been having. They have been so much fun and many thanks to the authors who have participated. If you haven’t been able to catch them while we’re live on camera, here is a little widget developed by the marvelous Book Candy Studios that will let you catch up on the events and trailers you may have missed. If you can’t see the widget below, you can click here. I’ve got some additional special guests coming up shortly and hope you can pop by.

Look for next week’s live event on July 28th when I have the amazing Cynthia Eden with me to chat about her latest releases as well sexy paranormal and suspense heroes!

Guilty Pleasures Monday Redux Michael Weatherly

This morning’s Guilty Pleasure is a worthy repeat: Michael Weatherly.

If you’re wondering why I have Michael on the brain again, take a moment to visit my author spotlight at the wonderful Joyfully Reviewed website.

Michael first caught my eye as Logan Cale on DARK ANGEL, but I absolutely love him as Agent Anthony DiNozzo on NCIS!

Being a hopeful romantic, I had always wanted the Tony character to end up in a relationship with Kate. Of course that became impossible when they killed her off.

Now I’ve set my sites on Ziba as the most likely candidate for Tony. Let’s hope they don’t write Ziba out either, although as Michael commented in one interview, the NCIS really stands for “No Character is Safe.”

Let’s hope our movie-loving, wise-cracking totally sexy Tony is spared such a fate.

Fun Friday – Greetings from Columbus, Ohio

I am so sorry that I haven’t posted the last two days, but I was having issues getting a clean Internet connection as I am on the road again . . .

This time I am in lovely Columbus, Ohio at the 2010 RT BookReview Convention. Having a wonderful time meeting both new and old friends. You can see me here with my lovely editor Selina Mclemore and some of those friends.

Seriously though, those are some of the fabulous Ellora’s Cave Men at the Wednesday night ball.

I’ve been busy doing a number of panels and also taking the time to interview some of favorite authors and friends. Take a moment to watch this interview with USA Today Bestselling paranormal romance author Angela Knight as she chats about her current and upcoming releases. Look for more interviews over the next few days!
