Deleted Bits

The revision and editing process will often result in scenes either getting lost on the cutting room floor or being changed from the writer’s original vision. On this page, you will find either those lost bits or what I’d like to call the Director’s Cut — the original version of scenes that were later edited.

DARKNESS CALLS

DARKNESS CALLS – Ryder and Diana engage in a much more dangerous and sexy dance in order to draw out the serial killer. Click here for a look at the original version this dangerous dance.

DARKNESS CALLS was originally intended to be much longer and much more graphic. A number of scenes involving the serial killer were cut. It is my intention to re-work these scenes into an extended edition of the novel. **WARNING**This scene does contain graphic violence. Click here for the serial killer’s point-of-view as he takes a victim.

The first meeting between Ryder and Diana originally had a bit more action during their fight. Click here for a look at the original version where Diana and Ryder first challenge one another.

DEATH CALLS:

For a look at the Director’s Cut of the first love scene in DEATH CALLS, please click here.

Director’s Cut of a lunch scene between Diana and her best friend. I liked the scene because there are very few times where we actually see Diana doing every day normal human things. I really liked showing Diana dealing with a real-life situation namely, her best friend announcing the news that she’s pregnant.

BLOOD CALLS:

A sneak peek at one of the first encounters between Diego and Ramona.
