Tuesday Travels Philly Flower Show & Monaco

I am so excited about the current WIP, TO CATCH A PRINCESS. It is moving along so well and I’m having a blast with it. Only sad part is that I’ve never been to Monaco and so I can’t include any real life experience for you. It looks like such a fabulous place and it’s been on my Bucket List for a while, so hopefully I’ll get there one day.

Right now I’m working on a scene where the hero whisks away the heroine to his family’s villa just outside of Eze, a small town in France. The roads in this area are kind of risky and curvy and with this being a romantic suspense, you just know there has to be some kind of speeding car scene! I won’t say more and ruin it for you.

Here’s a shot of what some of the roads in the area look like! A sure bet for a wild ride.

But now for some more mundane travel right around the corner from home: Philadelphia. I love the city and of course, the annual flower show! This year it was really nice. The theme was Britain and there were some beautiful gardens and flowers to see and smell.

Here are some of my favorite shots. You can see more by clicking here.

Fun Friday – Flowers on the First Day of Spring

It’s the first day of Spring and it’s snowing!!! Luckily it looks like the snow is letting up and the crocuses, daffodils and other spring flowers are starting to emerge.

Since it is the first day of Spring, I’d thought I’d share some flower photos with you from my trip to the Philadelphia Flower show this year.

Also remember that the extended contest week continues until midnight EST on March 20th (Today!!). Visit any of these blogs and leave a message and you could win a copy of SOLDIER’S SECRET CHILD, an autographed ARC of SINS OF THE FLESH and a CALLING T-shirt. Thoughtful Thursday – A Harbinger of Spring

Lots of people think of crocuses as being the harbingers of spring when they poke their colorful little heads up over the remaining bits of snow on the ground.

For me, the best harbinger of spring is the Philadelphia Flower Show! Seeing all those lovely gardens and flowers help me survive the cold winter and remind me that spring is just a short time away.

My sis and I have a birthday ritual of visiting the show every year for my birthday! We’re going to the show tomorrow and I can’t wait to see it. This year’s theme is Bella Italia and I so love all things Italian. Here’s an image you can download from the site for the show. Proceeds from the show are for a good cause as well – The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.

Next week we’ll be having a Birthday Bash Week to celebrate! Check back for lots of guest blogs and opportunities to win some fun prizes!
