Believe it or not, it’s hard to decide where to set your novel. For starters, it has to fit the story. You normally can’t have an art heist in a remote mountain lodge (or though one such theft occurred). But for something like a missing person, you can do it anywhere, but an unusual location like the decaying military batteries in Sandy Hook can create more interest. Harlequin Intrigue readers tend to like the Pacific Northwest as a location. Interesting, right? But what about you? Do you love small town romance or big city romance? P.S.
