Happy National Pizza Day

Happy National Pizza Day! I love pizza, and even though we’re trying to watch our carbs, we had pizza on Friday. It was Jersey Shore-style pizza, which means it was quite thin. It’s become our new fav since we downsized and moved to the shore. When I was in school in Philly, the pizza was doughier and not generally sold by the slice, unlike the New York-style pizza I grew up with. What about you? Do you love pizza? Favorite Winter Comfort Food

We’re seeing new and dare I say, historic low temps along the Jersey Shore! I don’t think I remember cold like this in a long time, which means it’s time to make something warm and stick-to-your-ribs for dinner. Today I’m making braised short ribs with cheese grits, but normally, my favorite winter comfort food is soup. Any kind of soup. National Homemade Soup Day

Favorite Romantic Song
