December 1. I’m already in panic mode about the upcoming Christmas holiday. I don’t have a list. Forget about checking it twice. I really need to start prepping the house for the big Christmas Eve bash and think about all the gifts for my friends and family.
Luckily, I have a helper for all this! He’s even decked out in part of his Santa suit so it’s helping me get in the holiday spirit. What do you think? Is he a good choice for Man Candy Monday?
It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is here! I love this time of year with the changing colors of the leaves and the smell of wood burning in fireplaces. I also love being able to spend some time with family, gathered around the table, sharing all the things for which we are thankful.
In that spirit, I want to say, I am thankful for all of you who take the time to come by every day! THANK YOU!
I will be back on Monday with some delicious Man Candy. For now, here’s a photo that I snapped of Macy’s in Herald Square. They are all ready for the Thanksgiving parade tomorrow and the start of the Christmas season. Sigh. I really must make my list and start to get ready. First thing on my plate: Getting the Christmas village up next week.

Even now, Howie Long is still sexy. Love that militarily neat hair and sharp jaw. keen blue eyes and big body. Of course, it helps that he’s a fellow Villanova alumni and Hall of Famer.

Boy am I thankful for Friday. It has been a trying week and I want to thank all of you for your well wishes and support. I’m doing much better today. Feeling better and the tree is gone. Handymen are on their way to give quotes for fixing the damage to the house and deck. I’ve got my laptop running again and hubby suprised me with an upgrade to my phone! Yeah. Still getting used to it, but I love that it’s bigger so my clumsy fingers can type better.
I’m sharing this free read from the Take a Chance box set. As I mentioned, I’m working on number 4 in the series, Stay the Night, and trying to think about who should be in the fifth story. I mentioned in One Last Night that Maggie has a sister in the service. I’m thinking it may be time for another story with a female service member. What do you think?
With Thanksgiving almost here, it makes me think of all the things for which I am grateful, like all “the kids” in our family! This is a shot from the first Christmas with my daughter (all the way to the right in the red velvet and hiding behind a toy) and our youngest nephew (being held by his proud big brother).
They are all wonderful kids and I am so so happy that they are part of our family!
It’s been a trying few days. Monday was the ‪#‎BookBirthday‬ for the Take a Chance ‪#‎erotic‬ ‪#‎military‬ ‪#‎romance‬ ‪#‎boxset‬ only it was tough to celebrate since:
1. My laptop crashed.
