On the third day of Christmas #Giveaway Faith Hope & Charity

While researching this Christmas Carol, I came across an interesting background for the carol, namely, that it was written as a catechism lesson when Christians were being persecuted for their faith.

THE PRINCE'S GAMBLESo what do three French hens represent? Faith, hope and charity and as some of you may know, Caridad means Charity in English.

That means today’s 12 Days of Christmas giveaway is a choice of one of my backlist books. Just check out the booklist and leave a comment with the name of the book you would like to win for a chance to win that book!

Also, visit with me today at the wonderful My Book Addiction and More to find out about what was the hardest parts of writing THE PRINCE’S GAMBLE.

On the first day of Christmas. . .#Giveaway and a Partridge

I’m sure you know the old folk song about the Twelve Days of Christmas and we’re going to be celebrating those twelve days here on the blog with a combination of giveaways, guest blogs and some fun!

First up, visit with me at The Qwillery. Leave a comment at the Qwillery or here on this blog for a chance to win a $10 gift card to your choice of either Amazon or B&N.

So, on the first day of Christmas, I’m giving you a Partridge in a Pear Tree. Well, David Cassiday aka Keith Partridge for those who remember the days of The Partridge Family show. My sis and I would always argue about who was cuter, David Cassiday or Bobby Sherman. I favored Bobby and she liked David.

What do you think? Who’s cuter?

Whenever you feel love it feels like Christmas!

It’s that time of year. The Christmas carols are playing in my office! I’ve made my list and I’m checking it twice. I’ve started making the grocery list for all the fixin’s for Christmas Eve, or Noche Buena as we call it. Getting ready for friends and family and most importantly . . . love.

I think this song from the Muppet Christmas Carol, a holiday tradition at our house and a favorite, sums it all up! If you can’t see the video below, you can click here. And by all means, if you like this, take a moment to check out the DVD! It’s an anniversary edition that I was lucky enough to get last year (since our tape was starting to show a little wear).

I’d love to hear if it’s one of your favorites or if you have some other favorite holiday movie!
