Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! This year is my daughter’s first Mother’s Day, a very exciting occasion. I’m heading to her house later to help her plant her annuals and veggies. Her Mother’s Day gift to me since I love getting my fingers in the dirt and she’s not really a gardener. I have hopes to turn her, though. LOL! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Happy National Clean Up Your Room Day

It’s National Clean Up Your Room Day! I’m busy getting ready for the upcoming Book Lovers Con, and my little grandbaby Axel decided that he had to help me clean up some of the swag I’ve got for the event! LOL! He was a big help, but I’m still making swag and worried about how I’ll pack everything for the flight. Wish me luck and have a happy Saturday! I’m off to do some gardening!

Happy Flower Friday

I don’t know if there is such a thing as Flower Friday, but if there isn’t, there should be. This is one of my small planters in the front of my house. I took a risk by planting these over a month ago and am so happy I did! What a blast of color! Color is one of the things I’m striving for in this year’s garden as well as pollinator-friendly plants and something new: electroculture. It involves using stakes with copper wire as a sort of antenna to draw energy to your plants. I’m not sure it’ll work, but if it won’t hurt, why not try it? If you’ve got flowers up in your garden, share a photo! P.S. I have several first in series specially priced at 99 cents. Whether vampire suspense, a beach read, or spicy military heroes, grab your copy today at https://amzn.to/4m7l0mW.

Fascinating Visit to Venice

As I mentioned, hubby and I had been saving up to visit Italy, and we finally had the time to do it a few weeks ago. We hit several cities, and today I’m sharing some videos and photos from Venice, the most unusual of the cities. Why? Water, water, everywhere. Venice was built on a series of lagoons as a protective measure against attacks, and the main way to get around was by water. When we arrived at the train station, we met our water taxi, and wow. What an experience. The boat was bobbing around, and it was an adventure to get on! The taxi whisked us off to St. Mark’s Square since high tides kept it from delivering us directly to the hotel, although on the way home, the taxi docked right at our place! Today I’m sharing photos from that first arrival and our gondola ride that day! Yes, we had to do it, and it was an experience. Because of the high tides, the gondolier had me regularly move to the front of the boat to help lower it so we could get under several bridges. Human ballast. As you can see, water, water, everywhere. P.S. There’s lots of water on the Jersey Shore and the first book in the At the Shore series, ONE SUMMER NIGHT, is specially priced at 99 cents. Congratulations, Michele Dunaway

I’m so happy to have fellow Harlequin author Michele Dunaway with me today! Michele is celebrating the release of Conveniently a Fortune, #4 in her contemporary romance series! It sounds fabulous and I can’t wait to read it! Please welcome Michele!

I’m so excited because today, Conveniently a Fortune releases everywhere. This is book 4 of The Fortunes of Texas: Secrets of Fortune’s Gold Ranch.

Here’s the blurb: “What if you married me?”

Jacinta Gomez despairs in the face of an impossible mission: in six weeks, marry—or lose the family’s beloved chocolate business forever! After Jacinta confides in her mentor, powerhouse Micah Fortune, he’s got an irresistible proposition: he’ll be her husband for one year to secure her birthright. But Micah can’t ignore the simmering attraction for his whip-smart, stunning bride. After a devastating betrayal, though, he’s sworn off love. Can this make-believe match usher in a happily-ever-after?

Grab your copy of this and the other books in the series at https://amzn.to/4mmMuFh.
