Help Me Choose: Cold Case or K9?

I’m so very happy to say I have a new contract for a three-book romantic suspense series. Now the dilemma is: What to write? Since I finished COLD CASE K-9, #3 in the Crooked Pass Security series, I’ve been toying with doing a spinoff where CPS helps others solve cold cases. But I love my puppers as well. What to do? Best April Thing So Far

April is coming to a close which begs the question: What has been the best thing about April so far? For me, it was a combination of things, namely the Liberty States Fiction Writers Conference at the start of the month and our amazing Italian vacation. I loved the conference, spending time with other writers, and learning new things. I loved the vacation because it let me relax and see new things. “New things” are something I love since they inspire me! I know many of you had April birthdays which would be a great April thing, but what else was good about April for you?

Rainy Day Book Event

It’s going to be a rainy day for our Belmar Beach Reader’s Book Fair and we’re hoping that won’t keep people away from visiting with us and all the other local authors at the event. My daughter and I will be there from noon to 4 pm! The book event is being held at the beautiful Taylor Pavilion, 500 Ocean Avenue, Belmar, NJ. Join us at the Belmar Beach Reader’s Book Fair

I’m so excited and happy to be attending the Belmar Beach Reader’s Fair with my lovely daughter and some of our fabulous Liberty States Fiction Writers Members! The book event is on Saturday, April 26th, from noon to 4 pm at the Taylor Pavilion, 500 Ocean Avenue, Belmar, NJ. There will be many authors there who have a wide variety of books, including children’s books. If you’re in the area, I’d love to see you! P.S. Squishy Peeps or Tasty Chocolate

With Easter over, we’re busy eating the wonderful sweets from our Easter baskets. Hubby loves Peeps so he gets them all while I’m the chocolate lover. I’ve tried loving those squishy Peeps but I just can’t get into them. Maybe in hot chocolate, chocolate obviously being my thing. What about you? Happy Earth Day

Happy Earth Day! Ever since I read SILENT SPRING by Rachel Carson in elementary school, I’ve been very conscious of the impact on our environment. When I garden, it’s totally organic. I don’t use pesticides of any kind and I try to plant flowers that will encourage and support pollinators since they’re so important. Hubby and I recycle as much as we can, and I use a Sodastream to cut down on the bottles and cans that we generate. I’ve also started using those Swedish dish cloths instead of paper towels.
