One of my all time fav movies is Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. I think it got cheated out of the Oscar for Best Movie the year it was nominated. When we went to Disney last year, one of the most awesome moments was being able to have dinner at the Beast’s castle. The place is absolutely amazing and you feel as if you are stepping right into the movie.
This is a photo of my daughter and me with our host, the Beast.
I love baseball which is what led me to write two baseball-themed books that you’ll see later in the year as part of the Jersey Girls Contemporary Romance series. I love the strategy of the game. I love that you can be any height or size to play. I love the uniforms, especially on cuties like David Wright.
Last night I got to go to the Mets-Phillies game with my daughter and here are some photos for you! But before I go – It’s also the release day for the Jersey Girls Contemporary Romance Series #1. I could so identify with Daisy Ramos, the heroine in TAMING THE BACHELOR, when I wrote that book. She was smart and a science geek. Two things that always seemed to turn off the men in her life even though she was also a very sexy woman. I think Daisy and I share two of the three traits – smart and science geeky. LOL!
Anyway, because of that, Daisy and this story of her finally finding a man who isn’t afraid of her is very special to me. I actually had an old high school crush confess to me many years after high school that he’d been afraid to ask me out because of those traits. Luckily I found a man strong enough to appreciate my many talents and who puts up with my not so neat form of organization.
TAMING THE BACHELOR was re-released on April 1 and is specially priced at 99 cents. On April 15 I’ll be part of the Sinful Seven Stories Collection with a number of my writing buddies! Easter was always a big holiday in our house. Church, an Easter Egg hunt, Easter baskets from the bunny and of course, the Easter Bonnet. We even went into New York City a few Easters to be part of the Easter Sunday Parade.

It’s always exciting to see the next generation of writers at work and know that you’ve somehow inspired them. Over the years, I’ve worked with a number of young authors to help them learn more about the publishing industry and to hone their writing craft.
I love seeing the enthusiasm they have and even more, I love seeing when they are successful in achieving their goals. Today’s post is dedicated to one of those young writers – my daughter!
As you may know, she self-published her first book, FOLLOWING JANE, a story about a young woman who is pursuing the adventure of a lifetime by trying to solve a scavenger hunt left by none other than Jane Austen!
