#ThrowbackThursday My Very First Book!

As I’ve mentioned, it’s been 15 years since my very first release, NOW AND ALWAYS! It was so exciting to get “The Call” from the editor saying that they wanted not only that book, but a second. Wow!

I was totally doing the happy dance that day. To celebrate today, NOW AND ALWAYS is free at various locations and is part of the specially priced SOUTH BEACH SIZZLES COLLECTION, now only .99 cents for the month of September.

Today’s throwback is to the cover of RT Magazine which featured NOW AND ALWAYS on the cover. I’m told the very sexy man on the cover is none other than well-known cover model John DeSalvo. I remember the first time my boss saw the cover. He said, “It’s very . . . pink.” I guess he didn’t know what else to say although he’s been a good egg about my writing gig over the last 15 years.

Thanks to RT Book Reviews Magazine! All rights to this cover belong to them.

#CoverReveal Rocking Ashton by Kacey Hamford

Happy Labor Day! I know it’s #ManCandyMonday, but today we’re doing something a little different: A cover reveal!

rockingashtonnew2

Here’s a little teaser about the book:

When Marcy is faced with tough decisions after facing the loss of her father, will she run or will she stay and fight for her man?

Marcy’s story continues in book 4 of the Rocking series with yet more tests of her relationship with Rick and her best friend Esme. With the arrival of Ashton, Rick’s son, Marcy needs to decide what she wants from her life and with her own revelations, both her and Rick have some decisions to make.

But with Ashton’s birth mother turning up on numerous occasions, both Rick and Marcy are in for a rough ride, one that will follow them through Rick’s tour with Flix and will penetrate every area of their lives.
Rocking Ashton proves to be another rollercoaster ride of emotions that is ‘The Rocking series’.

This book is not only steamy, but also touching and at times heartbreaking. The perfect page turner.

This book has some sexual content and heavy language. Not intended for people under the age of 18.

#WriteWed Inspiration for the Sin Hunters Series

AlphaImmortalsWow! I can’t believe that it’s been five years since the first release in the SIN HUNTER series and now I’ve re-released both SINS OF THE FLESH and STRONGER THAN SIN.

Not to mention that THE LOST will be part of the fabulous ALPHA IMMORTALS box set which will be available in early October.

So what inspired the series? For starters, my love of science. I was, and still am, a science nerd. I love watching all those shows on the Discovery Channel and reading about what’s happening, especially with genetics. It’s what led me to use genetic engineering gone wrong as the basis for the first two books.

My love of history combined with my love of science inspired the next two books, THE LOST and THE CLAIMED.

As a kid I avidly read all kinds of history books, especially ones dealing with the history of the Americas. It’s how I got the idea to incorporate Mayan practices and the Quechan language to create the otherwordly Hunters like Adam and Christopher.

What’s going to inspire the next one, THE SHATTERED? Yes, I do plan on writing another one. So many of you have been writing to ask about what happens to Sammie and Ryan and they will get their story. Plus, you’ll get to see more of the Carrera clan and find out how they are all doing.

Back to what will inspire it: I don’t know. It’ll definitely be a meld of the first two in the series with the last two. Genetic engineering meets Hunters with special powers. I’ve just got to figure out how who is going to be the ultimate villain and what they want with the Carreras and the Hunters!

#ThrowbackThursday Caridad & Selina SINS OF THE FLESH #FreeRead

As I mentioned yesterday, I’ve re-released SINS OF THE FLESH and please remember, if you bought the print book from Amazon, you can now get the e-book for FREE!

SINS OF THE FLESH (and the other novels in the Sin Hunters series) would not have been possible without my fabulous editors at Grand Central Publishing, Selina McLemore and Latoya Smith. THANK YOU!

This is a photo of Selina and me at the 2012 RT Convention! Selina was a wonderful supporter of my work and if you’re wondering if she inspired the name for Adam’s mom, you’d be totally correct.
