I confess that I had no clue what a cheese curd was until I visited one of my clients in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was a fun visit to a city I had never been to before and I had a lovely time learning about my client’s business. But one of the highlights of the visit was tasting cheese curds for the first time and learning that if they don’t squeak when you eat them, they’re not truly fresh. LOL! Actually, it wasn’t hard to love them since I love cheese and every time I find them, I pick up some to take home. Have you ever had a cheese curd? P.S. I had a lovely time at the Fall in Love with New England Conference. It was great to spend time with some familiar friends and make new ones. We had a blast with our Mystery Panel (I was the murderer – Mwah-ha-ha) as well as several others. The Halloween party was fun and there were some exceptional costumes there, including two book fairies! One of the panels I attended was a craft panel and it was fun to make some bookmarks.

I’m having a lovely time at the Fall in Love with New England conference! It’s always great to get together with familiar friends and make new ones. Today I’ll be on three different panels talking about so many different writing topics. Plus, it’s the big book signing this afternoon. Join me and my friends today and pick up some good reads. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 25 years since the publication of my very first novel! I still remember the day that I got the call and the whirlwind that followed the publication of the book. Since my book, NOW AND ALWAYS, helped launch Encanto, the nation’s first Latino romance line, there were quite a few newspaper stories and my book appeared on the cover of Romantic Times Magazine. I also got to be on the local Fox News Early edition and was even interviewed by CNN. Unfortunately, that interview never aired due to some big news that weekend but it was still exciting. In the many years since then, I’ve been lucky to not only publish nearly 80 books, I ghostwrote a book for the Jane the Virgin television show and of course, there was the Hallmark Movie. Things most writers only dream of but do you know what’s been the most amazing part of this journey? YOU! ALL OF YOU! I have loved getting to meet you and spend time with you more than anything else. Lately, I’ve also been in heaven with being able to share this journey with my daughter, who is a fabulous writer and influencer. I look forward to the next 25 years of spending time with you and writing more books! THANK YOU ALL for being with me on this journey.
