Happy National Cheese Lovers Day

Happy National Cheese Lovers Day! I absolutely love cheese in any way shape or form (except for the ones with worms!) I love fruity ones like Gourmandise or those cheddars with cranberries. I love dry, sharp cheeses like grana or parmesan. Soft ones like brie? Yep, them too. Fav cheese must be blue cheese in any form, whether Gorgonzola or Roquefort. For every day, hubby and I always have cheddar and Swiss in the house. What about you? What’s your fav or don’t like? If you want to try my recipe for a grown-up version of grilled cheese, please visit https://www.caridad.com/2022/10/11/grilled-cheese-tomato-soup/.

This or That: Train or Plane?

We talked about all the places we’d love to go the other day and thank you for sharing your places to go and some fun suggestions. But here’s another question: How would you go to all these places? Would you take the train or the plane? For me, it’s definitely a train (if possible) because I absolutely hate to fly. I do it only because I do like to travel and see other places, but if I can get there by train (or car) that’s my choice. What about you? P.S. To check out where I’ll be this year, visit my event page for event details at https://www.caridad.com/meet-me/events/.

Happy National Sticker Day

Happy National Sticker Day! I am most definitely a sticker girl! I have them on my computer and also on a portable lap desk that I work on whenever I’m traveling. I also have some on my bike. Amazingly, I don’t have any bumper stickers on my car. Never liked them for some reason. What about you? Do you have stickers on things and what kinds of stickers? P.S. If you want to see Crooked Pass Security Agents Sophie and Robbie Whitaker from CLIFFSIDE KIDNAPPING in action, check them out in the other SOUTH BEACH SECURITY books at https://amzn.to/3PoCWdv.

Goodbye Christmas, Hello Valentine’s

It’s supposed to be warmer today which means I’ll take down the outdoor Christmas decorations! I’ve already put most of the indoor decorations away and I’ve started to flip to celebrate Valentine’s Day! Yes, I’ve become one of those people who decorates for holidays. Well, especially Valentine’s Day which is a romance author’s favorite holiday. I scored this fabulous wreath at Aldi as well as a great sweater I can use at an upcoming Valentine’s Weekend Book Signing at the Brook Hollow Winery! How about you? Do you decorate your house for holidays? P.S. – You can check out some of my other events at https://www.caridad.com/meet-me/events/. I’ll be visiting a lot of areas at various book signings and would love to meet you! You can also sign up for my newsletter to stay in touch with where I’ll be and if you do, you can download a free copy of SOUTH BEACH LOVE! Sign up at https://bit.ly/CaridadsNewsletter.

Cover Reveal Cliffside Kidnapping

When I finished the South Beach Security K-9 Division series with DANGER IN DADE, I knew there were two SBS cousins who still needed their stories. But I also knew they needed new challenges and to visit with their Colorado cousins who you met in COLD CASE REOPENED. That’s how the Crooked Pass Security series was born and I’m so excited to do a cover reveal for CLIFFSIDE KIDNAPPING (July 2025), the first book in that series. Like the SBS series, all books are standalone but have connected characters! I think you’ll love seeing Sophie and Robbie get their happily-ever-afters and also find out what happened with Jackson and Rhea from COLD CASE REOPENED. P.S. If you haven’t already picked up your copies of DANGER IN DADE and the other books in the SBS series, you can snag them at https://amzn.to/3PoCWdv.

P.P.S What do you think of the new series logo?
