Do You Love Corned Beef & Cabbage?

Every St. Patrick’s Day, we join the Irish and have Corned Beef & Cabbage to celebrate. This year, we’re ordering it from a local pub because hubby hates the smell of cooking cabbage. I don’t mind it was much, maybe because I’m like 20% Celtic? How about you? Do you love corned beef and cabbage? P.S. Whether you love it or not, don’t miss out on picking up some books for FREE on Kindle Unlimited. Grab your copies of one of my KU books at https://amzn.to/4ukO4Lv.

Philly Flower Show 2026

Happy birthday to me! One of the ways I celebrate is to go to the Philly Flower Show with my sister! We went yesterday, and we had a lovely time. They’ve expanded the show onto one entire floor, and there were many floral displays, although I miss the HUGE garden displays they used to have. I hope that they’ll maybe bring them back, but the show was definitely improved from the year before. They also had all the vendors on the second floor, which was new. We did some fun shopping before hitting the Reading Terminal Market to get some sticky buns and Bassett’s ice cream! I hope you enjoy the photos!

Happy Lunar New Year

Happy Lunar New Year! 2026 is the year of the horse, and according to the website ChineseNewYear.net, people born under this sign are leaders who don’t give up easily and can even be reckless. They are principled people who are generally outgoing and agreeable. Because the horse is powerful and determined, they can overdo it, and so they should keep an eye on their physical, emotional, and mental health. I was born in the year of the dog, which means I am humble, courageous, helpful, and kindhearted. Pretty good, right? What about you? P.S. Besides working hard on #2 in the new K-9 division series, I have a surprise release coming up for you!! Look for it sometime in the next week or so! If you love sports romances, I think you’ll love it!

Favorite Winter Comfort Food

We’re seeing new and dare I say, historic low temps along the Jersey Shore! I don’t think I remember cold like this in a long time, which means it’s time to make something warm and stick-to-your-ribs for dinner. Today I’m making braised short ribs with cheese grits, but normally, my favorite winter comfort food is soup. Any kind of soup. It could be tomato soup out of the can or a homemade bean, ham, and greens soup! What about you? What’s your favorite winter comfort food? P.S. If you need some heat, take a trip down to Miami and a racehorse stable being threatened by a former trainer! Even better, it’s only 1.99 for SABOTAGE OPERATION.
