Tuesday Tip – Becoming an M&M

sad.gifIt’s a dreary day here in NYC. My daughter is headed off to college in two days. TWO DAYS!!! Nope, I am handling it. I told myself I would not cry when I dropped her off because I do not want to ruin her exciting new adventure.

But, I did need a pick me on account of all those things. Maybe you do as well, or maybe you are just tired of your online avatar or your website picture. Kim at the Romance Novel Television message boards (she’s the best! I got to meet her at RWA) gave us a secret site that was sure to cheer us all up and eliminate website picture/avatar boredeom. Thoughtful Thursday – Remember Me

A few weeks ago I made my shoebox for Operation Shoebox and dropped it off. I hope whichever GI got it is enjoying the goodies I put inside.

This video hit the news a few weeks ago as well, which really lit a fire under my butt to go through with my plans to help our GIs and not forget them. Forget their sacrifices.

So this video is about our GIs. The sacrifices they make. Please think about them and do something, even if it’s just filling up a shoebox care package. If you want to consider what else you can do, please visit the America Supports You site, where you can find other ways to help out.

This is a long video, but don’t cut away until it’s done. And make sure you’ve got your hankies ready.

Chatting Tonight

Catch me tonight at Writerspace at 8:00 and then at eharlequin.com at 9:00 PM EST for both of these chats. I’ll have some prizes during the Writerspace chat and at eharlequin, you’ll have a chance to chat with fellow Nocturne authors as well as the Executive Editor for the line, Tara Gavin!

Visit with me again at eharlequin on August 20th during a fun lunch time chat and to have a chance to win some prizes!

Wicked Wednesday – Crazy for the Cat

MOON FEVER, October 2007I am in awe of being in an anthology with Susan Sizemore, Maggie Shayne and Lori Handeland in October. The anthology is titled MOON FEVER and my story is called Crazy for the Cat. It’s a story about an ethnobotanist and an Amazon river guide. I loved setting it in such an exotic place and also, getting out some messages about the environment as well. It’s a fast-paced story, filled with adventure and also, some steam (and I’m not talking about jungle kind of heat!). Continue reading “Wicked Wednesday – Crazy for the Cat”
