#Fridayvibes What are you doing this weekend?

I’m definitely feeling like it’s Friday today! After a week of cooking and leftovers, I’m ready to help support a local restaurant. We alternate between taking out and eating out since we’re lucky enough to be able to do that. We try to rotate who we support, especially with Lent approaching which means no meat on Friday. Other than that, no special plans except more writing on a new project. How about you? Do you have any plans for this weekend?

#FridayNight – A Night on Broadway

After 9/11 New York City was suffering in a variety of ways, including economically. My family made a point of trying to help out by coming in for more touristy things, like going to Broadway. Preview tickets back then were relatively affordable and so we went to a Broadway show fairly regularly. As things stabilized and prices started to go up, we found that we couldn’t go as often, but we still tried to go for shows that really called to us. Tonight Beetlejuice called and we answered. I can’t wait to see the show and I wonder if it will be able to capture the fun of the original motion picture. How about you? Any special plans for your Friday night?

#FridayNight – It’s time for the florist!

It’s almost Friday night and tonight we’re off to the florist to pick out the flowers for the wedding! So exciting! I can’t wait to see what my daughter wants (besides Lily of the Valley which are impossible to get at times). I think she’s looking for a Jane Austen kind of feel so let’s hope it all goes well. In the meantime, some of my fav flowers for you!
