#ManCandyMonday Villanova Basketball Coach Jay Wright

Humor me this Monday morning. Today’s choice is fashion plate and Villanova Basketball coach Jay Wright. This man, unlike Rollie Massimino (1985 National Champs!), is always perfectly put together. So much so that he’s been a multiple winner of GQ’s Fashionable Four of best dressed college coaches.

And despite disappointments in the last few years where Villanova was eliminated in the early rounds, this year Jay has led my alma mater to tonight’s NCAA Basketball championship game. WOO HOO! Let’s hope I’ll be able to celebrate tonight!

#ManCandyMonday Model, Fitness Guru, Rugby Player Stuart Reardon

It’s chilly and wet today, so I really needed someone to heat me up! I’ve been seeing Stuart Reardon around on various covers, pages, etc. and thought, today’s the day he visits the blog.

#ManCandyMonday Mario Lopez

It’s the dimples. Okay, and the rocking hot bod! Mario has appeared on numerous television shows and commercials. He’s probably best known for his role as A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell. Mario has also written a fitness book, cookbook and a children’s book about himself and his baby daughter.

He’s just so totally cute and a worthy choice to heat up this very cold and miserable first day of spring.

#ManCandyMonday Daniel Henney and Drama Fever

Today is a shoutout to my Mini-Me and her obsession with K-Pop, Korean dramas and Drama Fever.

Daniel Henney is an American actor of Korean descent who is known for a number of movies, including Big Hero 6, and for a number of popular Korean dramas. Daniel is also a model who has appeared in various commercials and magazines.

He is currently starring in Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders with another favorite of mine, Gary Sinese.

#ManCandyMonday Rufus Sewell

Rufus first caught my eye in A KNIGHT’S TALE, even if he was playing the bad guy. He seems to do that a lot actually. He’s been in my brain lately because I’ve been watching THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE while I’m on the treadmill. This series is an Amazon original and truly fascinating. The story is based on a novel by Philip K. Dick and it’s an alternate history within an alternate history. Very interesting.

#ManCandyMonday Leap Year & Matthew Goode

Leap_year_poster So it’s a very special day since it only comes around every 4 years and there are some weird customs associated with this Leap Day.

One of these customs comes from Ireland where supposedly St. Brigid struck a bargain with St. Patrick to allow women to propose to men every four years.

Today’s Man Candy choice is related to that custom in that he starred in LEAP YEAR, a movie about a woman who goes to Ireland to propose to her boyfriend but finds a very different love along the way. The love interest is Matthew Goode, who is actually English, but we’ll not quibble about that since he’s such a cutie.

If you haven’t seen the movie, treat yourself today to it on this Leap Year Day!

Matthew also appeared in CHASING LIBERTY, another fun movie about unexpected love.

#ManCandyMonday Loving the Lifeguards & Surfers

Who hasn’t worshipped those wonderful sun-tanned bodies from afar? I remember many a day at the beach, sneaking a peek at them and thinking about just how cute they were and buff. Most were so buff. Sun-streaked hair. Sigh.

Of course, the beach also had the sexy surfers like Zack from EMBRACE THE NIGHT (free on Kindle Unlimited). I can picture Zack as a lifeguard on the beach also, can’t you?
