Shoutout Payback in Death by J.D. Robb

I got quite a number of great gifts for Christmas, including a new baby coming in July! But some of my favorite gifts were the books I received, like a cookbook of Italian favorites (is that a hint from hubby?) and the latest J.D. Robb book – Payback in Death! I absolutely love this series from Nora Roberts (writing as J.D. Robb) and literally drop almost everything to start reading when I get the latest release. What about you? Did you get any books for Christmas? Share and let me know what you’re reading!

Shoutout to Hope Tarr

My friend Hope Tarr has a new release and I wanted to share it with you! Hope is a fabulous romance author but she’s starting a new series of historical fiction set in New York City during the early 1900s. Here’s a teaser for Irish Eyes, Hope’s new release!

In the aftermath of America’s war with Spain, Rose leaves her beloved Arans and boards a steamer for New York City. Herded through the emigrant landing depot at The Battery, abandoned and alone, she soon discovers that the New York streets are no more paved in gold than those of Galway. To survive, she must ford her way through Lower East Side tenements and sweatshops, Fifth Avenue mansions and tony hotels – tangling with Tammany Hall for the soul of the man with whom her fate is inextricably linked while fighting her feelings for the first love who still holds her heart. Just as she begins to make peace with the past, the Great War erupts in Europe, threatening to topple the dynasty for which she has sacrificed so much.

Shoutout to KM Fawcett

I’m off to my local Liberty States Fiction Writers Holiday Party but before it’s time for the festivities, I want to shout out to my friend K.M. Fawcett who has a new release for the holidays! Check out the teaser below, and if it grabs you as it grabbed me, you can order the book at https://books2read.com/WildeChristmas.

As Lacey Wilde works to open her bed-and-breakfast in time for Christmas, she meets Marine veteran Dean Hunter — who claims her adopted military working dog is his! Can Dean and K-9 Remi protect Lacey from a mysterious threat? A suspenseful small-town romance to warm up the holidays.

P.S. – If you love stories set around the holidays, check out One Summer Night. Although the story starts on the Jersey Shore during the summer, it has many scenes in New York City during the Christmas season.
