Sun is Out; Temp is down!

We’ve had two weeks of gloom on the Jersey Shore and thankfully, the sun is finally out. Unfortunately, the temperature is way down. That has me thinking of something nice and warm to drink — like a nice hot chocolate with marshmallows — and reading a good book. A beach read to bring back memories of summer! So, what’s your favorite drink on a cold winter day? As for a beach read, if you love second chance at love stories, try out Under the Boardwalk. It’s about a couple about to get divorced who think they might be making a big mistake. Will they give it another try? Will they get their happily ever after? Did I mention it’s a st**my read? You can download Under the Boardwalk at https://amzn.to/485Y134.

Chase Away This Seriously Arctic Chill

OMG it’s cold out there. We’re in the teens and that’s not something we normally see on the Jersey Shore. It’s a perfect day to just hunker down with a nice hot cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and a book that’s sure to chase away the chill, like one of the books in the South Beach Security series. With their Miami vibes, family ties, action, and of course, romance, they’re sure to chase away this seriously arctic chill! You can download them at https://amzn.to/3QBMj9J. While you’re chilling, I’ll be presenting a workshop on writing memoirs at the Edison Public Library from 2 to 3 pm. If you’re in the area, I hope you’ll check it out! Bucket Lists and Secret Princes

Happy Sunday! It’s so cold and windy out there and after my weekly brunch date, I’m going to hunker down for some self care, namely some writing and reading! How about you? P.S. – Check out the new cover for To Catch a Princess! What do you think? This is one of my fav books because it’s set in Monaco (a place I’d love to visit) and it has a car chase, arranged marriage, secret prince, and romance, of course! Writing it was a blast! Wonderful 2023 & Looking Forward to 2024

What a year 2023 has been! I was so lucky to be able to travel to a number of writer and reader conferences! I got to visit so many new places and spend time with my family and friends. My daughter and I both had several new book releases, but the most exciting is that my daughter is finally expecting a baby in 2024! I am so grateful for 2023 and looking forward to 2024! What about you? How was your 2023?

Tasty Tea, Coffee, Mulled Wine or Hot Chocolate?

Happy Sunday! The weather outside is getting frightful and what could be better than to snuggle under the blanket with a good book and a hot cuppa! But what’s in that cuppa? Tea? Coffee (my usual writing partner)? Hot Chocolate? What about a nice seasonal special like mulled wine? What would you like to snuggle up to? Okay, ladies get your minds out of the gutter! You can snuggle up to that sexy man later! LOL! You can find a tasty recipe for mulled wine at https://cookieandkate.com/classic-mulled-wine-recipe/. P.S. – Billionaire computer nerd John Wilson from Biscayne Bay Breach turns out to be way more snuggable than Mia Gonzalez could ever imagine! Always fun to surprise a heroine with the unexpected. Rainy Sunday Read

We’re expecting torrential rains and what could be better than to hunker down under a blanket with something warm to drink and a good book to read. I had started Rancher in Her Bed by Joanne Rock during a recent flight and I’m going to sit myself down and finish this very sexy and enjoyable romance. After all, who can resist a very handsome and caring cowboy and a spunky heroine! What about you? Any special plans for today?

Slimming Sweater Sunday

It’s getting to be sweater weather on the Jersey Shore so I decided to do two things. The first was to go through my sweater drawer and get rid of all the XLs that are now swimming on me. The second was to buy some hats and gloves to donate. Okay, there was a third one also: buy a new sweater for a holiday lunch! It was so exciting to be able to buy that sweater in a medium and slip into some size 10 pants. A big change from tight size 16s and the XL sweaters that went into the donation bag along with the hats and gloves. I’ve been stuck at 45 pounds for nearly three months now, but I’m determined to get past that and lose the next thirty pounds! Wish me luck!
