My nephew and godson, who also happens to be born on my b’day, just had a baby with his lovely wife and two weekends ago, we went to the baptism. This photo is of his mom’s, my sister’s, baptism in Cuba. That’s my dad all the way to the left and my brother all the way to the right. I’m the little curly-haired girl next to the man holding the baby – my sister!
Today’s throwback is just a short toss to the end of July and the RWA National Conference in New York City. Just sharing some more pictures of some of my friends at the conference! Hope you enjoy them!
One of things I love the most about conferences is getting to see some of you when the conference is in your area! This is a photo from the RT Conference in Los Angeles! I was so lucky to be able to see my buddy Kathy! Yeah. Looking forward to seeing her again when RWA makes its way to San Diego.
When Hurricane Sandy hit nearly three years ago, we were lucky that my daughter’s just opened surf and skate shop was not physically damaged. Economically was a different story since the area really suffered during that first year. Despite that, and hurting herself, my daughter donated a portion of her sales to Hurricane Sandy relief and even sold her One Direction tickets and donated that money.
She was able to see One Direction last year since I bought her tickets for a conference last year, but she’d love to see them again and is part of a contest. Please help her out by clicking here to like her video!
