#TravelTuesday – A Trip to London

I’ve been blessed to visit London several times. A few times for business and research and then for a family vacation! It’s one of my favorite cities and I hope I get to visit there again soon. We’ve been lucky to be there for the British equivalent of Memorial Day and it’s inspiring to see how veterans and the military are honored. Today’s picture is a shot of the Tower of London where they keep the Crown Jewels and traitors. An interesting mix.

#ThrowbackThursday Philadelphia Flower Show

Fate has been conspiring to keep Spring from me! Snow and cold for a good chunk of March, including on the day when I was supposed to go to the Philadelphia Flower Show. I was major league bummed that I was unable to go for the first time in many many years. 🙁 It was especially tough since the theme was Holland and one of my fav things about spring is seeing all the tulips, hyacinths, crocuses, daffodils, and other bulbs come up!

Today’s Throwback is to the 2012 Philly Flower Show.

#TravelTuesday Some of my favorite places!

I don’t know about you, but I love to travel. My one big problem with traveling, however, is that I hate to fly. Totally hate to fly. Despite that, I have been able to go to a number of places for both work and pleasure. I still have lots of places I’d like to go and today I’m sharing my Pinterest board of all of those locales!

Take a moment to tell me about somewhere you’d like to travel!

#TravelTuesday Fall in Love with New England Conference

I had an awesome time at the Fall in Love with New England Conference. I had a chance to visit with some friends, make new friends, and spend a few hours in Salem, Mass. It was lots of fun and if you’re in the New England area, I would highly recommend you check out this conference in 2017!

For today’s Travel Tuesday, I’m sharing some photos from the conference and Salem.

#TravelTuesday More than a Mission & Secret Agent Reunion

Several years back I was lucky enough to be part of a romantic suspense series from Harlequin that included MORE THAN A MISSION and SECRET AGENT REUNION. I loved writing these stories set on a fictional island as well as London and Rome. Especially MORE THAN A MISSION which is one of my personal favorites and was also turned into a comic in both Japanese and Chinese!

These were emotional stories about sisterly love and devotion and of course, romances with strong alpha heroes and action-packed suspense. Plus, they gave me an opportunity to do some first hand research in London and Rome. While I was in London, I also did research for another romantic suspense book that I had planned to revolve around the Knights Templar. That book is still in my ideas journal and I hope to get back to it one day when I have more time to write.

For today, on this Travel Tuesday, I’m sharing some photos from the places I visited and which inspired MORE THAN A MISSION and SECRET AGENT REUNION and will eventually make it into another book! For now, I want to leave you with these images. Just click on a thumbnail to see the full photo!

#TravelTuesday Ocean Grove #NJ

Ocean Grove is a lovely little town in my neck of the Jersey Shore. It was founded in 1869 by Methodist clergymen who wanted a summer camp meeting site on the Jersey Shore. A lot of the property in the town is still owned by the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association and leased to residents for their homes and businesses. The town was declared a State and National Historic District in 1975 and has an amazing number of Victorian and early 19th century homes. It also has these fabulous tents that are occupied during the summer months and originated as places for people to stay for the camp meetings.

Ocean Grove beaches are some of the loveliest in the state and the beaches and boardwalk have been restored since the damage done by Hurricane Sandy. It is always fun to visit the beaches and then stroll into town for the small businesses (like my daughter’s surf and skate shop) and the many events that the town holds all year long.

This past weekend was the Brits on the Beach event! I loved visiting to see all the classic and modern British cars that were in town for the event. Today I’m sharing some pictures with you. Just click on a photo to see it full size!
