One of the most wonderful things about being a writer is all the amazing women that I have met over the many years. I had a surprise the other day when I got home: copies of KILLER IN THE KENNEL, my November release from Harlequin Intrigue. The unboxing never gets old and I’m so excited about this book. It’s a compelling story as South Beach Security opens a new K-9 training center only to find that a serial killer may be at work on the grounds of the abandoned greyhound kennels they purchased for their center. The hero is a reluctant one since he’s an everday real estate agent but he feels responsible since he sold his cousins the property and since he is intrigued by the K-9 trainer hired to run the new training center. As you know from several posts, I’m big into gardening! It’s all organic gardening as well since I want to support all our pollinators and other animals. With my choice of pollinator-friendly flowers this year, I’ve had loads of bees and other small beneficial insects. But I haven’t had a lot of butterflies! I know the swallowtails have been around since I saw one of their caterpillars chomping on my parsley and it’s been eaten several times much like they do, but so far, only one lonely butterfly. The landscaper for our townhouses was by and he also asked me about it since he hasn’t seen all that many this year. What about you? How are the butterflies doing in your area? P.S.
