As always, thank you for your support! Also, many thanks to Romancing Rakes for this review of WHEN HERALD ANGELS SING from A VAMPIRE FOR CHRISTMAS!

“OMG y’all. I cried while reading this book. It’s a story where love and sacrifice once kept Damien and Angelina apart but in the end, brought them together for a much deserved HEA…(T)his story enthralled me. I’m a fan of A Christmas Carol and squeed the moment I realized this was a loose take on that…Damien and Angelina’s (story) had me tearing up while sitting on a bench at the boardwalk looking like a crazy person. This is a heartbreaking story of love, sacrifice, forgiveness and redemption.”

Thursday 13 – Breaking up is hard to do…

The blog tour continues! Don’t forget to visit The Jeep Diva today to find out what she has to say about THE LOST and for a chance to win a LOST T-shirt or copy of my upcoming e-book, ROOKIE OF THE YEAR.

Also, tonight I have Anjanette Delgado with me for a live video event and we’ll be talking about break-ups, fixes for broken hearts and her latest release, THE HEARTBREAK PILL which explores what happens when one woman seems to find a cure for her break-up pain.

So for today’s Thursday 13, I’ve got a list of things you do when you break up!

1. Sing out loud to Gloria Gaynor’s I WILL SURVIVE
2. Get chip-faced like Sandra Bullock in MISS CONGENIALITY
3. Move to Tuscany and start a new life
4. Cry. A lot.
5. Go to the gym and beat the crap out of the boxing bag.
6. Eat chocolate.
7. Drink wine.
8. Find a new guy and hope he isn’t just a rebound guy.
9. Go out with friends and cry some more, drink some more wine.
10. Read a good romance.
11. Watch DIRTY DANCING six or seven times a day (like THE NEW GIRL)
12. Cry some more.
13. Get over it and move on.

Share your break-up remedies by leaving a comment here on the blog or even better, join Anjanette and me tonight as we talk about heartbreak and some remedies!

It’s never too late…

To become who you were meant to be. Don’t know who said that, but it’s so true. We all go through different phases in life, sometimes not really knowing if that’s what we want to do or if that’s what we’re meant to do.

It’s all about the journey and sometimes it’s a long journey. Just ask this little turtle about that.

Tuesdays Off and THE CALLING Vampire Series

I may be taking Tuesdays off at the blog as I’m busy editing ROOKIE OF THE YEAR as well as developing the concept for BORN TO DIE which will be the next book in THE CALLING. I am so excited because this story will focus on Diana and Ryder and a momentous change that is about to happen in their lives. I plan to release BORN TO DIE in March 2012. Even more exciting, with BORN TO DIE I plan on relaunching THE CALLING series in a new direction. Think X-FILES meets BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. Each story will revolve around Diana and Ryder and the many characters you’ve come to know and love from THE CALLING. Each story will be a new and unique paranormal suspense and I hope you’ll like this new direction in the series.

For today, I leave you with a reminder about THE LOST blog tour! Today’s stop is at YzhaBella’s BookShelf and you can leave a comment there for a chance to win a copy of the ROOKIE OF THE YEAR e-book.

Banned Books Blog Hop

Welcome to the Banned Books Blog Hop! It’s always a surprise to me to see the list of books that have been banned over the years, especially when they contain books that I’ve read and found so enlightening, like TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, or so entertaining, like HARRY POTTER. To me books, especially books of fiction, are one of the best ways that we can explore issues in society and bring them to the forefront for discussion and consideration.

When I was a teen, a local high school not only banned the books, but burned them. That case went all the way to the Supreme Court. To this day I always questioned why a few thought some ideas were so radical they needed to be eradicated by burning, like in FAHRENHEIT 451.

Which I guess is why I love America. We have the First Amendment and protections against restrictions on our speech. We also have a way of resolving our differences about whether or not the speech contained in certain works merits those protections. I hope that we never reach a point where things like “fairness doctrines” stop us from being able to openly discuss issues that are of importance for our society.

Take a moment to visit the other blogs for their discussions and giveaways. For this blog and to be entered to win a $10 gift card, THE LOST T-shirt and some swag, please either tweet or share on Facebook the following:
