Bradley Cooper & Lots of Excitement!

It’s a dreary Monday here, but we have with us today a man who is hot and humorous. Doesn’t get much better than that!

Today’s Guilty Pleasure is Bradley Cooper who is in almost everything lately. Bradley first caught my eye in ALIAS and apparently attended Villanova for a year before transferring some other school that shall not be named. LOL! I still haven’t seen THE A TEAM although it’s still on my list. Maybe over the summer weekends when I’ve got a little more time.

Paranormal Romance THE LOST

I’ve got a little teaser for you from the first book in my new paranormal romance series – The Sin Hunters from Forever Romance.

THE LOST will be out on July 26, 2011 and I can’t wait for the series to start. It’s a radically new concept: Energy gatherers who can become anything they want, suck energy from anything in nature – including humans – and use that energy was weapons in a variety of ways. Chris Hemsworth – A True Guilty Pleasure

OMG! Hands down today’s Guilty Pleasure is Chris Hemsworth. You may remember him as the doomed Captain George Kirk (aka Kirk’s Dad) in the new STAR TREK movie. He caught my eye then, but this time in THOR – Whoa. Check out this second trailer, especially at minute 1:00. Whew. Hot. Totally hot.

I cannot wait to go see this movie!!!

A Modern Romance Novel

I want to thank all of you who dropped by for the live video meet and greet last night! I had a blast and hope you did too. We’ll be doing another meet and greet in two weeks with more prizes and lots more fun. Thanks again.

Today’s Fun Friday comes from my friend Karin. It’s a modern take on a romance novel. Enjoy and thanks to whoever wrote this great story.

Romance NovelHe grasped me firmly but gently just above my elbow and guided me into a room, his room. Then he quietly shut the door and we were alone.

He approached me soundlessly, from behind, and spoke in a low, reassuring voice close to my ear. “Just relax.”

Without warning, he reached down and I felt his strong, calloused hands start at my ankles, gently probing, and moving upward along my calves slowly but steadily. My breath caught in my throat. I knew I should be afraid, but somehow I didn’t care. His touch was so experienced, so sure.

When his hands moved up onto my thighs, I gave a slight shudder, and partly closed my eyes. My pulse was pounding. I felt his knowing fingers caress my abdomen, my ribcage. And then, as he cupped my firm, full breasts in his hands, I inhaled sharply. Probing, searching, knowing what he wanted, he brought his hands to my shoulders, slid them down my tingling spine and into my panties.

Although I knew nothing about this man, I felt oddly trusting and expectant. This is a man, I thought. A man used to taking charge. A man not used to taking `no’ for an answer. A man who would tell me what he wanted. A man who would look into my soul and say … “Okay, ma’am,” said a voice. “All done.”

My eyes snapped open and he was standing in front of me, smiling, holding out my purse.

“You can board your flight now.”

13 Things I Love About Being a Writer

There are lots of good and bad things about being a writer, but I like being a positive person and so this morning I’m going to focus on 13 things I love about being a writer.

    1. Sharing my stories with people
    2. Creating new worlds and characters
    3. Meeting new people
    4. Sharing what I know with other writers.
    5. Talking about favorite books with other writers and readers.
    6. Visiting new places for conferences and research
    7. Research. I so love learning new things.
    8. My editors who help me improve my writing.
    9. Attending workshops.
    10. Having complete control over my characters (I am such a control freak!)
    11. Making new friends with readers and other writers
    12. Spending time alone writing.
    13. Long walks spent creating new ideas or working through problems.

As you might have noticed, meeting new people and making friends was up there on that list. Sometimes it’s not possible to meet you all in person, but thanks to technology, it is possible to see each other face-to-face!

In the coming weeks I’ll be having some live video interaction with fans and friends and also sharing some of my favorite authors and friends with you. Come join the fun at our very first live video meet and greet TODAY!
