A couple of years back I had the pleasure of attending the Midwest Book Lovers Unite Conference. I had a truly amazing time and got to meet so many nice people. There was a costume party to end the event and I had a run-in with this SWAT guy and managed to get the upper hand on him. Actually, maybe more than one hand on him, LOL!

Today’s throwback is not all that long a toss since I’m going back to last week and the RWA conference in Orlando, Florida. Sharing some photos of my friends, workshops, fireworks and other fun things!
First of all, sorry for the delay in posting, but it’s taken me two days to catch up with work and writing obligations after my trip to RWA 2017. I had a blast, despite the Orlando heat and humidity. I got to spend time with old and dear friends, make new friends, and of course, get in a number of very interesting and useful workshops to help me be a better writer. A win-win situation!

I had an awesome time at the Fall in Love with New England Conference. I had a chance to visit with some friends, make new friends, and spend a few hours in Salem, Mass. It was lots of fun and if you’re in the New England area, I would highly recommend you check out this conference in 2017!

Many thanks to my friend Kym A. for turning me onto singer and model Steffen Hughes! It was so awesome getting to spend time with you Kym at the Fall in Love with New England Conference. I met lots of really nice people and some other friends face-to-face for the first time. So awesome. I highly recommend this conference!
But back to Man Candy Monday! Steffen is a singer and model from Alabama. Steffen got his first guitar at age 16 and released his first EP in 2014. Steffen is also an avid fitness advocate. I’m off to the Fall in Love with New England Conference and I am so looking forward to it! There are going to be lots of fun games, panels and a book signing for readers and just as many wonderful opportunities for authors to connect with the readers and with each other.
