STAY THE NIGHT has to be one of my favorite stories. I loved that big strong Navy Seal Rafe Castillo is still in love with his wife after nearly five years of separation, but wondering whether she is still in love with him. I loved that Elena, Rafe’s wife, has grown and made something of herself, but still wants to fight to keep her husband even though their marriage was forced on them by an unwanted pregnancy.
I enjoyed exploring the dynamics between the two and having them find out that as different as they had both become during the five years of their marriage, their love was still strong.

A couple of years back a group of us got together for a booth at Philly Comic Con. Stephanie Julian, Judi Fennell, Laura Kaye and myself had a blast there meeting people, selling books, and chasing after our own fav movie and television stars. Here’s a photo of Laura and me at our booth.
It seems like an appropriate day to discuss how nature inspires me when I write. Whether it’s providing a soothing backdrop for when I’m writing or an interesting location, Nature inspires me!
For the Sin Hunter, Take a Chance and Jersey Girl series, I was inspired by the beauty of my home state, especially the Jersey Shore.
For The Calling is Reborn series, it was New York City. I know you probably don’t associate tall skyscrapers and an urban locale with Nature, but there are many lovely areas filled with trees and flowers, like Bryant Park and this little slice of beauty – Herald Square.

One of my favorite stories is ONE NIGHT OF PLEASURE. I loved Mark and Bridget and how they get together. I’m happy to say you’ll see more of them in EMBRACE THE NIGHT (early Summer). What I liked best about the story is Bridget discovering her sexy side, but even better, finding out that Mark loves her strength and courage more than her outer beauty. Mark is a smart man! LOL!

Today’s Man Candy is the son of yet another piece of Man Candy – Scott Eastwood. The son of the famous Clint Eastwood, Scott has appeared in a number of movies and is the latest Nicolas Spark’s book-to-movie, The Longest Ride. The Longest Ride is the story of a bull rider who is getting back up on the bull after a serious injury when he meets a young woman and romance ensues.
