#ManCandyMonday Tom Brady from the New England Patriots
Sorry I missed you on Friday, but I’ve been having a month full of computer issues. Sigh. Luckily, I’m close to being back to 100%.
I have to confess that I find myself becoming a Patriots fan mostly because of Tom Brady. He’s handsome and more than that, he seems like a genuinely good guy with a solid work ethic. So today’s Man Candy choice is none other than future Hall of Famer Tom Brady!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Looking forward to chatting with you this week.
#ThrowbackThursday The Kids’ Table
#WriteWed Inspiration is all around me . . .
Every year my family makes a trip to get our Christmas Tree and to visit New York City to see all the Christmas sights. This year it was a challenging trip. Lots of rain, at times with powerful winds that drove the wet into us. We persevered and got our tree and had a lovely time, although we did have to camp out for about two hours in the Time Warner center to warm up, dry off, and get some dry socks. All in all though, it was a lovely day filled with laughter.
I know that some of our experiences from this rain-soaked holiday excursion will make it into a book someday. Here are some photos from our day. I’ll have more from you as soon as I download them from my camera. It was just too wet to risk using the phone at times for the photos. Click on where it says CHRISTMAS 2014 to see more photos!
#ThrowbackThursday Holiday Traditions & #Giveaway
One of our favorite holiday traditions is trekking out to the Christmas tree farm to chop down our tree and then trimming it together. The final addition to the tree is always the angel on top. It’s not a fancy angel, but it was one of the first things hubby and I bought together at a local Woolworth’s for our first Christmas.
It’s up to my hubby and our daughter to sit that angel at the tippy top of the tree. Here’s some photos of them finishing our Christmas tree.
Share one of your favorite holiday traditions for a chance to win a $10 gift card!
#WickedWednesday Sexy Excerpt from Stay the Night
STAY THE NIGHT is available for pre-order at various retailers and will be available on December 15. It’s the next book – #4 – in the Take a Chance series.
I have so loved writing these stories about military heroes risking it all for a night that may lead to a lifetime of love and passion. I hope you’ve been enjoying the series as well. If you haven’t checked it out yet, your best bet is the Take a Chance Box Set which is only 2.99. That’s 99 cents per novella.
STAY THE NIGHT is a story about Rafe Castillo, a Navy Seal who has been away at war for five years and finds himself coming home to a woman who has changed drastically since the day he married her. Rafe still loves Elena, but he’s not sure if she’s still in love with him and whether there is a place in her life any more. She’s accomplished so much and he feels as if she’s passed him by.
In this scene, Rafe is on his way home and remembering the very first time that he and Elena made love. Warning – this scene is for mature audiences. If you can’t read the excerpt below, click here to read this teaser from Stay the Night.
#ManCandyMonday It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
December 1. I’m already in panic mode about the upcoming Christmas holiday. I don’t have a list. Forget about checking it twice. I really need to start prepping the house for the big Christmas Eve bash and think about all the gifts for my friends and family.
Luckily, I have a helper for all this! He’s even decked out in part of his Santa suit so it’s helping me get in the holiday spirit. What do you think? Is he a good choice for Man Candy Monday?
