I have to confess. I am a cat lover. Doesn’t mean I don’t love dogs, but cats are my fav. I’ve had a few in my life and the latest one is our adorable Slate! I rescued him from our backyard. I was sick a few weeks ago with a stomach bug and this is my little fur baby keeping me company. For those wondering, he is polydactyl. Has about 7 toes on each of his front paws.

This cutie first caught my eye in Kingsman: The Secret Service. Great movie if you haven’t seen it yet! Then he did an amazing turnaround and played Eddie the Eagle in the movie with that name. He was unrecognizable. Up next for Taron, voicin Johnny in Sing and the Billionaire Boys Club (2017) and Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017).

#ManCandyMonday Beard or No Beard?
Doing something a little different today for Man Candy Monday! I guess this was prompted by this baseball season and the assortment of beards that were visible out on the field. I haven’t seen that much facial hair in years. Some of it not so attractive.
So, I’m okay with a beard as long as it’s nicely trimmed and neat. What about you? Beard or no beard?

Happy Friday! I love Fridays and thinking about a fun weekend. This weekend I’ve got a book reading and signing on Saturday from 6 to 9 pm at OG Surf & Skate in Ocean Grove, NJ. I’ll be with my buddies Shelley Noble, Linda Parisi, Samantha Scordato, and the awesome Three Little Kittens Feral Rescue ladies will be with us also. We will have snacks, refreshments and door prizes so if you are in the area, I hope you can make it!
It’s also Chocolate Lovers Weekend in Ocean Grove, so there are a whole lot of activities going on in town. Always a fun place to be!

#WriteWed One Million Books Sold!
I’ve been nearing a milestone for several months and I still have to tally some numbers, but even without them, I’ve hit a very special milestone: ONE MILLION BOOKS SOLD.
Wow. Now I know there are people who have hit that number and more. There are people who hit that number in a really fast time. I’ve kind of been like the tortoise and not the hare, but despite that, it’s reason to celebrate a milestone that many writers may never reach.
So, WOO HOO! I’m still in a little shock about it and deciding how to celebrate since it’s truly something to celebrate. I think we’ll have a giveaway for starters. Maybe even a little get together at a conference. I’d love to hear from you about how to share this very special moment with you!

I don’t know about you, but I think military men are sexy and while I was pondering who to share with you this morning it came to me – Prince Harry! He has been in the news lately about leaving the military, but during his time there, he has done a great deal to work with wounded soldiers. So today’s Man Candy is none other than one of the sexiest red-headed men out there in uniform!

#FunFriday Create Something Magical Conference & First Day of Spring
Woo hoo spring is here . . . oh wait, snow is on the way. Sigh. Just a little longer and maybe it will warm up!
In the meantime, I’ll warm up with some friends at the Create Something Magical Conference this weekend. I can’t wait to hear some of the panels, rub elbows with the readers and other authors, and spend time with my best friend, my daughter. Besides owning a fabulous surf and skate shop, she’s also an aspiring author. She self-published FOLLOWING JANE and she’ll be pitching her new book this weekend to some editors.
Very exciting.
