#WriteWed – Holiday Gift Giving – Why not give someone a book?

My fondest memories are of sitting and reading. Books transported me to new places I could never have visited as a child and inspired me to reach for more so that one day I could visit all those new and exotic locations. As a female at a time and in a place where it wasn’t the expectation that women went to college and became professionals, books and my mother and grandmother, let me break those expectations and gave me the knowledge to succeed. So if you’re wondering what to give someone for Christmas or any other of the upcoming holidays, how about a book?
