Miami and South Beach have been on my mind lately even though it’s been some time since I visited. I have three different projects I’m working on right now that all have some connection to Miami. In COLD CASE REOPENED, my March 2021 Harlequin Intrigue release, you meet the heroes cousins who help out with the case. The cousins live in Miami and often help the family’s investigative agency, the Liberty Agency, with cases. I’m hoping to write a series with the members of the Liberty Agency.
Next I’m finishing up edits on SOUTH BEACH LOVE, my May 2021 release for Hallmark. So excited about this project! It’s a fun story about two chefs and some quinces events that get out of hand. For those who’ve read some of my earlier books set in South Beach, there’s a little Easter Egg there for you!
Finally, I’m in the last stages of writing EXILED HEARTS (tentative title) for Sourcebooks. This story is a romance with strong women’s fiction elements since it explores the broken relationship between a mother and daughter and how the grandaughter and her romantic interest help to end the rift between the two women. This story is also set in Miami, namely on Star Island, Downtown Miami, and South Beach.
I’m not sure when EXILED HEARTS will be out since it still has to go to my editor and get scheduled. In the meantime, if you want a taste of Miami, I have a number of earlier releases set there, namely:
