I usually have a pretty good idea of what a character will look like when I start writing a book, but for some reason John Wilson from
Biscayne Bay Breach was always way hazier in my brain. I knew I wanted him to look a little more refined than someone like All-Action-Guy Trey from Lost in Little Havana. Since John had a rough upbringing, he wasn’t as polished as Ricky from Brickell Avenue Ambush. Plus he’s a computer nerd, so there was a little of that in the mix. This morning it hit me: Jude Law.
