There were so many fun things about writing the K-9 spinoff to the South Beach Security series. First, I love showing you what’s happening with all the couples from the first three books. Second, I had a great time researching what kinds of dogs would be right for each of the books in light of what the suspense would be! Last, but not least, I loved giving the military heroes who are now SBS K-9 agents their happily ever afters! What kind of dog is in Sabotage Operation, the first book in the series? A Belgian Malinois named Butter because in this story former Marine Matt Perez has to safeguard Teresa Rodriguez, the owner of a thoroughbred racing stable.
