Good morning! Happy Sunday! I’m sharing some photos of the orchids in bloom at my house. It’s so exciting to see them blooming because I never had any luck with them at my old house. But in my new forever home, they’re able to get diffuse sunlight all day long and that’s helped them grow and even bloom. I’m most excited about the one in the upper right corner for a variety of reasons. First, because it took me nearly two years to get it to bloom. Second, because it seems it’s not a very common orchid. Whenever I go to an orchid show, it’s rare for me to see them. Even in Longwood Gardens with its large orchid display, I’ve only seen one or two Maxillaria orchids like mine over the years. If you’ve got flowers you love, please share! I would love to see them!
