Happy Spring Flowers

It’s been warm enough in the garden to do some clean-up and also plant some flowers and vegetables that can tolerate a little chill. It’s also time to think about pulling a sun-ripened tomato off the vine but to do that I need tomato plants to plant in early May. So I’ve gotten my seedlings going in the garage. Not my usual place and I’m hoping it’s warm enough but with the grandbaby, I can’t have my normal set-up. I’m also trying something new this year: cold-weather crops. I’ve got two different lettuces planted as well as some brussel sprouts. Hoping to get a crop out of them by mid-May when I put in the summer vegetables. P.S. It may be too early to put in the summer veggies but it’s not too early to pre-order your copy of CLIFFSIDE KIDNAPPING, #1 in the upcoming CROOKED PASS SECURITY series.
